    Re: [Deck] 12 Post

Been playing this deck a good bit and especially liking the GSZ deck.

Sphere is good vs UG omnitell in conjunction with Krosan Grip to prevent losing to Omni -> Emrakul. Would recommend keeping...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

@splorf I mis-worded the tldr a bit. I was elaborating a bit on the differences between scrying and wish, and pros and cons of them. When you asked why scrying would be played over wish, I...

    Re: Dark Depth-Hogaak

Bloodghast was something I theorized in the beginning but ultimately dismissed.

The longer I played the deck, and the more Karakas/StP entered the format (over the past few months), the worse the...

    Re: [Deck] Turbo Depths

Living Wish is nice and flexible... if you have the mana and time to use it. You're right that it's basically a Sylvan Scrying most of the time. There also is upside to being able to grab Ashen...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Made a 5-0 today. Beat these decks:

    Miracles - bye
Burn - Stratus Dancer is a 2-for-1 for me twice in G1. Scroll of Fate let me race pretty quickly once I got them to topdecking. They did have...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Scroll of Fate is a little bugged on MTGO. It pops up a message in the game log saying "[Player] manifests one of the top two cards of their library with Scroll of Fate" when that is not what it...

@Fox could you post a list for me to look at? If not your own list for some reason, perhaps the list you would run instead of mine?

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Tested out a version of this deck in a league - based somewhat on the mono-blue Narset version (which I don't think is very good) and some good versions. I had Standstill in my first draft but I...

    Re: DarkDepth-Hogaak

You can set up your mills post board so that you can immediately delve away vulnerable cards like depths to a hogaak. Even if delver extracts depths you should be able to race at least if you can...

    Re: DarkDepth-Hogaak

Top 8 the challenge yesterday and lost to red stompy in the quarters. Pocked up one loss in the swiss, to ANT. Played the mirror for the first time in the swiss as well.

    Played same list, but...

    Re: DarkDepth-Hogaak

Most of my matches, my side boarding started with -4 hogaak.

I played abrupt decay and assassins trophy over force of vigor. My list will be posted tomorrow if you can't look through the vod.

I saw some of you guys made it to my stream today. Didn't advertise here because I was playing adrieng's deck which is being discussed more at length in the New and Developmental Decks forum. Check...

    Re: DarkDepth-Hogaak

    Thoughts:

First, wow this was fun. I expected to 1-3 drop so having fun with memes and great matchups and friendos in twitch chat was great. Gotta mention that.

    Literally any depths deck would...

Going to be streaming this in the challenge today. Not expecting anything spectacular, but it should be fun.

How many 7 drop flips with Bob will you tolerate before rethinking this?

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I thought about Karn but I don't think this deck seems suited to it. We might not be able to cast lattice reliably enough, and there are no payoff cards besides lattice. We can't run lock cards like...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Delver doesn't roll over to Chalice anymore (as in, not like ~5 years ago) with threats like Young Pyromancer, TNN, and Angler. More threats that can actually kill you. Further, Grixis Control can...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Yes, I stuck with the 2x Griselbrand, 3x Worldspine, 3x Emrakul package for that.

I also tried -4x Inferno Titan to go to 4x Griz, 4x Worldspine, 4x Emrakul because Inferno Titan hasn't been too...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

My win rate has decreased dramatically since returning to the Vancouver mulligan rule (scry rule) from the London mulligan rule. Past three leagues are 3-2, 2-3, 2-3 for less than 50% win rate.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

The list I played felt very solid and never really disappointed me. The only flex slot I can see is trying to fit in one more fatty, probably Griselbrand #3 unless it becomes very important to have...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Hit the third 4-1 just now, almost 5-0 but lost close last match. Beat Sneak and Show, Eldrazi, Miracles, Lands and lost to 4C Loam.

    List:
    9 Mountain
    4 Ancient Tomb
    4 City of Traitors

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Wow. This deck is so good.

Double 4-1 this morning and might play more of the deck going forward!

Beat Lands, Miracles, Esper Control, Mono Green Cloudpost, UR Delver, Grixis Delver, Eldrazi,...
