We should not be comparing Elspeth, Knight-Errant with Jace, the Mind Sculptor. We should instead be seeing how each helps the other:

-Jace is good for the control mirrors as he helps out draw and...

-That's assuming FoF actually draws into the card you need. Jace with a fetch or dig can dig much deeper and more often.



-JMS does this much better with a fetch or too.

FoF could be pure CA, but may also be a super expensive cantrip. You don't have any control over how the opponent will make the piles, which usually result in them putting the one card you need in...

Fact or Fiction may generate more card advantage now, but Jace is also a win con. FoF isn't a win con.

Maybe this deck should fuse with the Counter-Top Thopter deck and somehow has a bastard child between the two that makes this deck viable again.
