Hey all, it's been a while since I commented with my UG post deck (May was the last I believe) with the ban on deathrite has that officially killed BUG post?
I've come up with a spicy take on BUG...
Borrowed omnitell for the first time. Changed 9 cards (4 main, 5 side) for cunning wish package. Went 3-0-1
R1 - mana'd dredge 2-0
Game 1 I counter their turn 1 LED and take the driver's seat....
Hello all. I'm looking at building cunning wish Omnisneak and am going to borrow a Sneak and Show deck.
Being new to SnS (not legacy got other decks), is the best way to grasp the various...
Had a tournament where I played miracles twice and Omnisneak once.
How do we beat them? I've tried various strategies against miracles and had very little luck.
As well as the aforementioned elves and maverick it is extremely useful against decks like DnT, that utilise SFM. It can also replace dead cards against griselbrand decks. Mud gets hit by it too.
Certainly, I've recently lent the deck out so am probably forgetting a couple of cards
My current Dragon stompy list:
Main
4 Chandra ToD
4 blood moon
I currently run 3 in my main deck and they are absolute lifesavers, I tried 4 but it was clunky. 3 seem to be just right.
At a GP I had to use it against BR reanimator to shoot Iona naming red.
I have to say that torpor orb is amazing, it shuts down elves really efficiently, as well as other creature decks. It can be used to bring in against snappy decks (if there's nothing better to...
I believe that the punishing build could be the best with all of the small creatures and miracles about.
But the chance to win out of nowhere and how I've adapted my deck keeps me firmly in the...
Good thinking, sorry I totally forgot about the ability to react to the trigger haha. I like that play a lot
In response (if they know what fumble does) theyd just use the counters to prevent us being able to use them
It can get awkward but I reckon it's worth it. There's no need to let it hit you because in response they'll gain life or shrink your guy. It can be useful against mom because you block they make it...
Yeah fumble haha. I believe it's worth testing because it does have other applications (the mirror, Lands, turbo depths, stoneblade, etc).
I only have 3 cards in the 75 that have blue in their...
I have found that with DRS replaced by other mana dorks that my mana has become more consistent. This is due to DRS needing lands in gys and no active Drs on the opponent's side.
Because of this I...
Ghost quarter can help you get the coloured mana you need with you running 3 basics. It's also really potent against most decks so acts like another wasteland.
Hey, I'll post my list that I'm going to be playing in the Welsh Nationals side later tonight (UK), it's still dark Maverick splashing for Leovold. Rather than SFM package Ì go more lands based.
...
Has anyone thought of playing Narset (PW)? She looks like she would be powerful against miracles and her ult is quite easy to get to.
Other thoughts are venser (similar to narset) or ashiok (can...
Have you thought of trying Kaya as dreadnaught suggested.
Yikes, I know that elves sometimes play Nissa, could it be worth running a PW (or any non creature) that attacks them from a different angle?
I'm predicting that there's going to be more miracles decks running about, any of you making changes for that matchup?
Currently I have 4 Drs, 1 scooze, 1 bog main and 3 leyline and 1 surgical side (I will probably leave it as is minus the Drs). My benefit is that I run crops so have instant gy hate when needed.
For me it's going to be 2-3 birds, a lotus cobra and maybe a crop rotation. But the 4th GSZ may be needed to grab scooze
No more DRS or probes
What's the rest of your deck like? You can run scrubland, overgrown tomb or basic swamp for the black splash
