Definetly Taiga; you have more green than white spells. The only reason you'll need a red producing dual is for casting Words of War, which makes Plateua a worse Plains most of the time.
You'd think that there would be more green or white enchantments that increase life totals, but Peace of Mind and Sunspring Expedition are the only two that don't completely blow.
Moat if you can afford it, Humility if not. I suppose you could run CoP:Blue, but only if like 2/3 of the decks you play are Merfolk.
If you can't afford Moat, Humilty out of the SB is okay. It does turn off Enchantress, but it hurts aggro opponents even worse.
Um, no its not. You might have bounced all there permanents, but that's not the same as winning.
Why exactly? Don't we already have enough anti-creature stuff? I'd prefer the SB to help bad match-ups rather than make even/good ones better.
I think the mirror is irrelevant. The chances of two people playing Enchantress meeting in a tournament seems vanishingly small. Anyways, I agree with Brehn. If you don't stick (or draw) an...
So, what do you all think about the Shadowmoor card Runed Halo:
:w: :w:
As Runed Halo comes into play, name a card.
You have protection from the named card. (You can't be targeted by it, and...
Canopy seems unnecessary. The deck already has enough card draw and no way to recur lands. It's not worth the pain and the vulnerability to Waste.
How good is Dovescape? I know that that the effect can be game endind, but it's 6 mana. What match-ups do you bring it in against besides Landstill?
I run 1x MD City of Solitude for Thresh., plus more in the board. That+Choke from the SB is pretty good at hating it.
It's a control deck with a fairly fast combo win. Stax does not do it better-Stax sits there for infy turns hoping its opponent concedes, while Enchantress actually wins.
I'd run it alongside Aura. I wouldn't play it normally, but if you see tons of Belcher, it might be okay-at least it cycles, so its never completely dead.
I don't like ESG in this deck. Too often, I was drawing them late in the game where they were useless; Utopia Sprawl/Wild Growth at least draw you cards.
I agree with this. Prison is the...
I think I've been wrong on Library being better than Mirri's Guile. I've tried both out, and Guile seems stronger. For one thing, I very rarely have used Library for extra cards: either the four...
I don't think Squee is all that good. You only want him when Confinement is down. Being a 1-of, the chances of you having Confinement, having Squee, but not being able to maintain the lock w/o him...
So, Replenish is back. How many MB/SB does this run? I'd think 3-4 would warrant at least slots in the SB.
Does Lifeforce have any merit for fighting Black decks? It seems like it could be useful against B-based control.
Warmth is a good answer to this.
This is a solid deck that seems to go through cycles of goodness. Even if its not the best choice right now, I expect it to always be able to surprise people and...
