Let's start from Fact or Fiction.
First of all, I know the card was a Vintage staple, but it fell out flavor....
Browbeat barely saw any competitive mtg game, if any at all.
This card gives a lot of information to your opponent
It lets him decide what you draw at a "reasonable cost"
It lets him exile...
Looking at random lists, it looks like it could replace Cursecatcher, not that I play merfolk enough (i've tried it couple of times, meh) to know whether or not it's better to play this or that card....
Reminds me of Eldrazi Mimic for some reason. It's tiny, doesn't do much on its own, it is in desperate need of getting triggers, and can do a good chunk of damage provided you can feed it.
