I do not mean to sound like an asshat, but this whole tournament totally surprised me... as there was a lot of stuff that should not have went down.

If games ended how they should, I would have less fun playing this game.

Thank you! How were the Moxen? Have you tried both, it and ESG?

Good point, that is why we in fact play them out ...

Also, who is that guy that you quoted?

Is he even on these boards?

Complete videos are online. Also, I just discovered that I can get a memory-friendly link form, so you can just go there:

So... Encahntress won and that's it?

Does that mean anything to the format? I mean, like, Enchantress is definitely not the best deck to play right now, but I think that Landstill might be.

Why not? Enchantress is unexpected, and many people don't know how to play against it. Sure, it's still not a tier 1, but it's a good choice indeed.

Anyway, I think it just demonstrates how unexpected Legacy is. The DTB's are slightly more favorable, but there are just so many tournament viable decks, you can best pick a deck you're familiar with than a random netdeck. I also believe Zach has played Enchantress before

...or, it was a fixed outcome to propagate Enchantress! A dark scheme by Evil Genius Tartell and his sidekick Credoboi!

It's been well established that Nihil != Lose. So I think it's just that Zach is a winner.

And I'm not sure this was really meant to symbolize anything. It was just really fun to see it play out, and to make predictions on the bracket.

And to see Meathooks make it to the semifinals.

That said, Enchantress is far from the worst choice at any given tournament. In some Metas, I could see it being one of the better choices (unfortunately, these metas are few and far between. But when they exist, for that brief stretch in time!)

So, I'm going to assume that the exclamation point followed by the equals sign means Nihil loses a lot. It has to be how it reads. There's no other way.

Exclamation points tend to provide emphasis. I can only assume that since there is no space between the equal sign and the exclamation point, that they must be connected. Therefore, the statement would read, "It's been well established that Nihil loses a lot!"

You must not like him. I wonder why? He appears to win occasionally.

Also, I was happy to have It's the Fear top 8.

    :)

That's what you get for using what I can only assume are mathematical terminologies in everyday conversation.
For the foreseeable future, expect to see less of me. I've lost my internet connection, and so I'll only be able to get on by siphoning free Wi-Fi from the surrounding areas. Which isn't always consistent.

Plus, the guy that I used to leech off of has now instituted password protection. This means that I effectively do not have internet at home. :(

"!=" is computational/logical syntax. The mathematical equivalent is an equals sign with a slash through it. Where "!" means "NOT", "!=" means "not equals" or "does not equals".

And lets be honest. Nihil equals win at least a little.

Enchantress > stormless meta. It's the best deck to bring to those.

Why in the flying fuck would an exclamation point mean "NOT"? That just doesn't make any goddamn sense. My point stands. Anybody not well versed in computational syntax (like myself) wouldn't understand that and would, in fact, interpret it the other way. I had inferred as much, but whatever.

Way to kill the joke. Do you see the baby? No? That's because you killed it.

I think that, were the math to be done, if could be shown that Nihil won at least twice as many matches as I did.

I just won th eimportant ones.
