East Tennessee / North Georgia Legacy

So is it just me, or is this area devoid of any kind of Legacy action? We used to have pretty regular Type 1 and 1.5 tournaments at American Cards & Comics in Chattanooga, but they went under years ago. The only other places to play now seem to be the Dice Head on Lee Highway in Chatt. and in the one in Cleveland. The Cleveland store has sporadic "Type 1" tournaments on Tuesdays sometimes, but it's generally one guy playing a bad Rec/Sur with no Survivals against a bunch of type 2 decks, but oddly they won't do Legacy for some reason.

I think there's also a place in North Georgia called the Fantasy Factory, but I really don't know if they have any events or not.

Anyone else from around here? I'd love to find a new place to play.

Tournaments every Wednesday at 7pm. The turnabout is typically 20 - 30 people.

Entry fee is $5 which buys you $5 store credit. Winner gets $5*x (where x is the number of people who play).

Oh wow, that looks pretty good. Bit of a drive though as I live in Chattanooga. I'll try and make it down to one sometime though. :D

When I was in school in Murfreesboro, Clay's Collectibles in Tullahoma used to host Vintage tournies every Saturday. It's still listed on Wizards website, but I don't know if they still support any older formats.

But, yeah, Supergames is a blast. Just be prepared to face off against ANYTHING. The meta is full of competitive/awesome/scrubby/random.dec and is the home of NinjaChant 2.0.

Gotta love a varied metagame! Although sometimes it's hard to prepare for the randoms. I once I got blown out by this weird monowhite deck playing Berserk Stompy, because my opponent went turn one Mother of Runes, turn two Wall of Glare. She then proceed to stall the game until she could drop Serra Angel + Empyrial Armor. WTF! And this happened both games!

PS, when did you go to school in MBoro? I went there from 2006-2008.

Well guys I know that Danpo knows all about this, but I am busting Steven's jewels about getting a legacy event running out here in M'boro. The reasons he has not done it yet:
he doesn't believe he can get the player informed and involved
    He cant prize properly
He cant get that kind of cards into the store... yet.

If you are local enough to want to play hit me up with some contact info... maybe I will drive him nuts with sufficient support.

As much as I would love that, I'm banned from Outer Limits Mboro because I told the owner's dick of a son that I'd rather burn in hell rather than play in an Unhinged draft shortly after Future Sight came out. He told me to leave the store because of it and actually threatened to call the police. Fuck that place.
