So I'm looking at forecasted card prices for Alara Reborn, looking at the cards all together - I realized I traded a Meddling Mage.

Just pisses me off, had to vent. Thats all really.

meddling mages have been printed three seperate times now, they really shouldnt be that hard to find. that and they kinda suck. I really cant see them being played much in type 2.

Type 2 instantly gets filled with only 3 competitive decks that rock/paper/scissors each other to the top.

It might not be hard to notice 1-2 problematic cards in the matchup and shut them down with Pikula. It's also virtually guaranteed that the controller of Pikula can name at least one critical card that's a 4-of in the other guy's deck. I can't see how type 2 players can't abuse it.

Do not underestimate the power of extended on cardprices...
Especially for as long as life from the loam remains a competitive choice in there.

With all the different spot removal spells flying around in type 2, there really isnt any way for the mage to be effective. I forgot he would be in extended though. That is another year away though, and who knows what the metagame will be like by then?

I have 2x Reg and 2x DCI ones. Should I sell them now? Wait until after they are released for t2 players? I don't play standard or anything else but legacy for that matter, so it doesn't matter to me if I keep them or sell them, I'm just wondering if anyone knows the best time to sell junk like that...
