Been 15 seconds since the last set came out so here's a new one!
Probably worse than Sprite Dragon, but interesting at least, I guess, with Baubles.
Also, Clue themed cards?

It's part of a UB with literally the game of Clue, so yes. Clue themed (in more ways than one)
I expect writing of a similar exalted quality.
Will Colonel Mustard be a Legendary Human Soldier?
If they print a good version of Tim Curry I might actually be tempted to get back into EDH
For my confessions, they burned me with fire/
And found I was for endurance made
Been spoiled and yes, but he switched to the navy so it's Commander now

Commander Mustard
Legendary Creature Human Soldier
5/5
Vigilance
Other Soldiers you control have vigilance, trample, haste
2RW: Until end of turn, Soldiers you control gain "whenever this creature attacks, it deals 1 damage to defending player"
Doesn't that Drake actually work best with Arcbound Ravager in an affinity shell, where you're basically doubling the number of +1/+1 counters and getting a flyer for Plating? Plus it counts as 2 mana for Affinity thanks to the Clue.
EDIT: i mean, turn 1 you drop land/springleaf/ornithopter/metal mox, play this and a frogmite or enforcer, turn 2 drop a ravager do some dumb affinity shit and swing for lethal, right?
Yeah, most probably. I just wanted to get the ball rolling on a thread, so I didn't really give it much thought.
Issues of course are that there this Drake doesn't have haste or a protection ability. Might be funny to mess around with Ravager and it though. But it's been a long time since I've seen Ravager in Legacy.

Not really? Springleaf Drum, metalcraft mox, bunch of stuff i'm forgetting since i've never really been an affitity player, but i don't remember that deck ever really having trouble with colored mana, i'm sure its built way differently now in legacy, but if you reverted to an older style build for the mana i don't see it as that much of a problem tbh.
EDIT: Mox Opal, Seat of the Synod, Great Furnace, Springleaf Drum, Lotus Petal, that's 16 sources of each color right there.
Maybe build like:
4x Arcbound Ravager
4x Ornithopter
4x Gleaming Drake
4x Frogmite
4x Thought Monitor
1x Retrofitter Foundry
4x Thoughtcast
4x Galvanic Blast
3x Shrapnel Blast
4x Springleaf Drum
4x Mox Opal
4x Great Furnace
4x Seat of the Synod
4x Urza's Saga
And then you've still got 8 slots left for whatever else you want, like Platings or Tombs or Needles or Petals or something. This also mgiht be a deck where you'd want disciple of the vault
It doesn't really do anything without sac outlet or something the deck can't do already so I don't see why it's worth considering.
The only way I think this could see play if it wasn't an artifact so it doesn't crap out to Meltdown or Boseiju.
.
Instead of old Affinity tech, I would look to new artifacts tech.
8 Baubles are 0 cmc artifacts that "sacrifice" and cycle for free
Sai Master Thopterist makes extra artifacts to sacrifice
4 Lotus Petal
4 Mox Opal
4 Mishra's Bauble
4 Urza's Bauble
4 Thoughtcast
4 Thought Monitor
2 Sai, Master Thopterist
3 Emry, Lurker of the Loch
3 Kappa Cannoneer
4 Gleaming Geardrake
4 Urza's Saga
There's probably a deck there somewhere.
The positives of Geardrake are:
+2 artifacts on 1 card (good for any ability that counts artifacts e.g. Affinity, Constructs, Improvise)
+1/+1 every time you cycle a Bauble (free), use Lotus Petal/extra Mox for mana (free), or recur them with Emry
Good synergy with Sai, which makes another free artifact per Bauble and has a clue-like draw
Replaces itself, albeit slowly
Pitches to FoW
Is that enough to make it into 8-cast? Don't know. But it has potential as another growing evasive threat like Kappa.
The clear comparison is Patchwork Automaton, which does see play. Drake flies, pitches to fow, and comes with extra permanents/ca vs the tempo of ward and ancient tomb synergy.
I think it’s close enough to be comparable.
Illusionary mask is back, baybe!
I see face-down creatures needed the help not dying as fast
