    [EDH] Momir Vig, Simic Visionary

I build this deck becase of two problems I had with othe EDH decks. I tried to buil around Azusa but green + artifacts didn't have enought carddraw to keep the lands flowing reliably. On the other hand my Niv Mizzet deck had enough carddraw but nothing to do with it (except of dmg with Niv but that was a little bit too narrow). So i decided to put green and blue together to have both advantages. Unfortunately now I can't use Azusa now so intead I use a general that can tutor up her ( and other stuff).

    So here is the list:

    General: Momir Vig

    Creatures: 28

    1 Azusa
    1 Oracle of Mul Daya
    1 Sakura-Tribe Scout
    1 Skyshroud Ranger

    1 Graceful Adept
    1 Arcanis, the Omnipotent
    1 Mystic Snake
    1 Myojin of Seeing Winds
    1 Myojin of Life's Web
    1 Magus of the Future
    1 Regal Force
    1 sakura Tribe Elder
    1 Overbeing of Myth
    1 Eternal Witness
    1 Genesis
    1 Yavimaya Elder
    1 Rampaging Baloths
    1 Wonder

    Spells: 31

    1 Exploration
    1 Gaea's Touch
    1 Rites of Flourishing
    1 Burgeoning Crucible
    1 Crucible
    1 Life from the Loam

    1 Horn of Greed
    1 Sensei's Divining Top
    1 Mind's Eye
    1 Flow of Ideas
    1 Rush of Knowledge
    1 Future Sight
    1 Souls Majesty
    1 Collective Uncoscious

    1 Vedalken Shackles

    1 Spellbook
    1 Regrowth
    1 Capsize
    1 Crop Rotation
    1 Mindslaver
    1 Walk the Aeons
    1 Timestretch

    Lands: 41

    1 Terrain Generator
    1 Dustbowl
    1 Stripmine
    1 Wasteland
    1 Reliquary Tower
    1 Academy Ruins
    1 Gaeas Cradle
    1 Scalding Tarn
    1 Misty Rainforests
    1 Flooded Strand
    1 Polluted Delta
    1 Wooded Foothills
    1 Windsweapt Heath
    1 Verdant Catacombs
    1 Flooded Grove
    1 Simic Growth Chamber
    1 Breeding Pool
    1 Tropical Island
    10 Forest
    13 Island

I hope I didn't forget any "you may play additional lands" things but if I did please tell me which.

I don't know if Survival belongs into this list because I alredy have general to tutor for creatures but I also need a more reliable way of getting Wonder and Genesis into the grave except of blocking and massremoval.

I thought about adding Disk and Oblivion Stone to the deck which would also make Academy Ruins more useful but some how I would like to keep my creatures on the board.

So what do you think ?

We have someone in our play group and Momir Vig is one of the most broken generals. You tutor up and draw what you need.

Your going to want alot of U/G creatures.

    Coiling Oracle
    Muckfiend Leige
    etc..

I think the cuttable slots are

    Graceful Adept
    Skura-Tribe Elder
    Wonder
    Timestretch

Before the G/U creatures I'd like to add
Budoka Gardener and Patron of the Moon because they fit my gameplan.

Murkfiend Liege seems to be ok but is Coiling Oracle really worth cutting one of
    mentioned cards ?

Meloku would be a nice addition but I don't know what to cut for it.

Spitting Image is a great general-killer in colors that otherwise might have some difficulty with that.
Murkfiend Liege can be really abusive in multiplayer if you also have creatures with tapping abilities.

    14. Generals are subject to the Legend rule; they will be put into the graveyard or command zone at the same time as any other Legendary creatures with the same name.

This rule has changed effective 2009-09-10.
The rule changed from Generals being "super-legendary" to the above rule as of 2009-09-10.
