Alright. I'll try that approach. Thanks!
Also, congrats on splitting the finals. Just noticed I didn't say that in the initial post.
I think Daze is actually one of the best cards vs 4c, I'd keep all 4 on the play and draw. Then something like 3 fow otd, 2 otp. Side out all stp and decays probably, our gameplan isn't to disrupt them but to disrupt their disruption.
Another plan is to cut the sfm package and go heavier on pwers, but that requires sbing constraints than might not be realistic.
The worst card against Czech Pile is Swords to Plowshares, so that should most certainly be the first cut before anything else. Cutting the Decay is not as cut and dry, because the opponent could have Sylvan Library, Umezawa’s Jitte, etc, although it's still probably the next best cut.
There isn't much you should be wanting to bring in either. 2 Flusterstorm, 2 Thoughtseize, 1 Sword of Fire and Ice is all I bring in from my list, cutting 3 StP and 2 Decay.
You shouldn't board out any Daze or FoW. You win this matchup by playing the big tempo role. Their 4c manabase is volatile, and Wasteland punishes that. TNN and Leovold are great against them. SoFI is also fantastic. The key is understanding what to FoW. Be patient. The only cards you should be worried about are Hymn to Tourach, Kologhan's Command, and sweepers (Toxic Deluge/Marsh Casualties). If you don't have a TNN, Jace is also worth a FoW.
The matchup isn't great, but it's definitely not a bad matchup. Also, this is a matchup that benefits from being on a 4 Wasteland and 4 Daze build like I am. I don't run any Jace's in my 75, but this is the matchup where Jace is really good.
EDIT: I forgot to discuss Pyroblast. Most lists are bringing in 2-3 blasts against us. Wether or not to FoW a blast is going to depend on the gamestate... what else you have in hand, how many cards they have in hand, what's currently on the board, etc. Sometimes, it's worth Forcing through a TNN or Leovold. Othertimes, it's fine to bait out their blasts and wait for a better opportunity. Their clock is slow and the game will go long, so picking your spots are important. The last thing you want to do is FoW pitching business, to counter a Pyroblast, only to run into a Diabolic Edict or Marsh Casualties.
If, say, I have a Hierarch, SFM, and TNN, I'd let the TNN get blasted, and focus on getting and protecting a SoFI instead of fighting over a blast on TNN.

I agree with pretty much all of that. I don't think we're worried about Library enough to want to Decay it though, we can put their life total under enough pressure. And Jitte isn't common at all, if you see it game two bring a decay or two back for game three maybe.
I really like bringing in my flusterstorms for that matchup- a lot revolves around the k command and pyroblast fights.

How does everyone sideboard vs elves on the play vs the draw? Do you leave in daze and fow, if so how many?
I still have my sideboard tables from pre-ban here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...KcI/edit#gid=0
I was siding out all DRS, Daze, Jace and the Sofi. Not sure this was totally right though, DRS and Daze are both reasonable on the play.
Go for it, Maxtortion made this template, it's really handy!
This is a more recent one for 4c pile, but importantly it has slightly more up to date decklists at the top - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...oxg/edit#gid=0
Hey guys I just wanted to say I have been playing Bant again after a long hiatus. Been running very well and wanted to share a picture as a guide on how to beat dredge. Just do this!

I was directed here from the Deathblade thread. Does anyone know the “William Moore” who placed well at SCG Worcester with a 4c Deathblade (w/ Noble) deck? If so, could you ask him if he could post his sideboard strategy? Would he change it?
TIA

Speaking of William Moore's list, I took his list as a base comparison with a GSZ version. I think Bant with GSZ (Sam Black style) is ripe for a comeback. What do you guys think of Bant nowadays? What about GSZ?
Here's a little analysis:
William Moore's
20 LANDS
4 Flooded Strand
1 Misty Rainforest
4 Polluted Delta
1 Scrubland
3 Tropical Island
2 Tundra
2 Underground Sea
3 Wasteland
18 CREATURES
4 Deathrite Shaman
2 Leovold, Emissary of Trest
4 Noble Hierarch
4 Stoneforge Mystic
4 True-Name Nemesis
17 INSTANTS and SORC.
1 Abrupt Decay
4 Brainstorm
4 Daze
4 Force of Will
4 Swords to Plowshares
5 OTHER SPELLS
1 Batterskull
2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
1 Umezawa's Jitte
SIDEBOARD
1 Containment Priest
2 Ethersworn Canonist
2 Flusterstorm
2 Surgical Extraction
3 Thoughtseize
2 Vendilion Clique
1 Vindicate
2 Zealous Persecution
4 Nobles vs. 1 Noble and 3 GSZ split allows just as many T1 dork plays
Pros
-less lategame dead draws and more play options
-higher DRS and Leovold availlability
-possibility for silver bullets (KotR, QPM, Ooze, Teeg, etc.)
Cons
-forced to make room for Dryad Arbor and it sucks when drawn
-Dryad only produces green
-not many exalted triggers
-bad in conjunction with Containment Priest and Grafdigger's Cage
If I compared with this tentative list inspired by Sam Black...
Creatures (15)
1 Noble Hierarch
4 Deathrite Shaman
3 Stoneforge Mystic
1 Qasali Pridemage
1 Knight of the Reliquary
1 Leovold, Emissary of Trest
4 True-Name Nemesis
Spells (21)
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Brainstorm
4 Daze
4 Force of Will
2 Ponder
3 Green Sun's Zenith
Other (4)
1 Umezawa's Jitte
1 Batterskull
2 jace, the mind Sculptor
Lands (20)
3 Wasteland
4 Polluted Delta
4 Flooded Strand
1 Windswept Heath
3 Tropical Island
2 Tundra
1 Underground Sea
1 Scrubland
1 Dryad Arbor
-I replaced the lone Decay with a QPM for 4x availability to Artifact/Enchantment hate. Decay will likely be in the SB
-Split Leo with KotR. I am not sure if it's the right move...
-I cut 1 SFM and SoFaI because I believe equipments aren't stellar with KCommand and Abrade all over the place. I replaced them with 2 Ponders because I think 21 blue cards is a minimum and going from 8 to 10 proactive T1 plays is important. Also, Ponder is always excellent.
-Less emphasis on black, therefore a more stable manabase so I can safely cut 1 USea for Dryad Abor.
I feel like this list is a huge upgrade in terms of versatility and consistency. What do you guys think?
Do you know what assuming does? It makes an ass out of you and me.
Get it...? Ass, u, me?
... ffs I was trying to be funny...
@Qweerios, did you have any results with your list or is it a work in progress?

"Then kill 'em again, you numpty. Kill them dead. Don't kill them alive."
I didn't think DRS or probe needed to be banned but I gotta say i'm so happy that this deck is gonna be back in a big way.
Noble

TNN
RIP/Priest in the board for Griz decks
Gideon for Miracles
All sorts of potential new spice
Let's get it!
