This is a good question. Creatures of Fear:
Fear
Dread
Face of Fear
Shinen of Fear's Chill
Dread Reaper
Dread Slag
Dread Specter
Dread Warlock
Dread Wight
Dreadwing
Phyrexian Dreadnought
Visara the Dreadful
Cards scare me all the time. Generally, in these cases, one should chant/scream/whisper/silently ponder the Litany Against Fear. =)
Seriously though, I'm not sure what you mean by 'fear'. Do you mean: What changes the metagame? What people hate? What is frustrating? What are the best 10 creatures in Legacy? Does this include the cost to put it into play and use it?

Dark confidant hands down is my most feared creature in Legacy. Ask yourself this, nothing significant has happened for the first 4 turns of the game and your opponent just casts dark confidant and tarmogoyf, you have a plow in hand, which one do you plow?
1. dark confidant
2. progenitus
3. tombstalker/ tarmogoyf
Tarmogoyf
A powerful Magic the Gathering card. Its power and toughness are so ridiculously high that people continuously ask, "How big is tarmogoyf?"
This greatly depends on the deck you are playing, but this IMOP is the top 10:
1. Iona
2. Goblin Lackey
3. Xantid Swarm - Answer it or lose fast cause ur about to see 9+ spells and Tendrils or a Belcher
4. Tireless Tribe/Putrid Imp - Since u know ur playing against dredge
5. Magus of the Moon
6. Tombstalker
7. Goblin Ringleader
8. Gaddock Teeg
9. Sower of Temptation
10. Magus of the Tabernacle - Cause u know its Stax
If you genuinely fear Goyf ur playing the wrong format. Its just some stupid green creature that is answered by every form of removal in the format. And Progenitus .... they have to Natural Order into it, if you aren't destroying opponent's creatures, disrupting their hand, or counting storm, IMOP you are playing the wrong deck. But I am heavily biased towards certain archetypes.
"I just shot Marvin in the face!"
"Why the fuck'd you do that??"
7) Opposing Xantid Swarm
8) Lodestone Golem
Bless your heart, we must consider Blue/White Tempo's strategy and win percentages in an entirely different deck thread. -4eak
9) Trinket Mage into Chalice of the Void?
10) Glen Elendra Archmage with 2 blue mana open?
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably delicious.
Team ADHD-To resist is to piss in the wind. Anyone who does will end up smelling.
If your question is what am “I” as a legacy player afraid of.
1. Bob
This guy should have had dranlu’s negative ability stuck on him for equality. Drawing this guy in the beginning middle or end of a game is rarely fair.
2. Gatekeeper
Coincidence that the 1st and second creatures on my list are the first and second best black creatures probably ever printed? Thank god only noobs play with black Joe.
3. Jotun Grunt
If Landstill were viable in the format I wouldn’t look at this card twice, but because it’s soo hard to beat as a secondary threat in an aggressive format I would just like to say suck it coldsnap for counterbalance and Jotun grunt in that order.
4. Lavamancer
I really don’t like cards that 2-1 opponents by cleaning up graveyards “relic is an exception because it nukes both which is ok by me.” Lavamancer just barely makes the top 4 because I appreciate how it nukes virtually every threat minus 10 on this list.
5. Noble Hierarch
I love noble hierarch so much because of the tempo plays you can make with it that are soo amazing it’s unreal. Daze/waste/ let them stp or path it/ t2 rhox or goyf or clique. So powerful. Always a threat. Wins games.
6. Magus of the Moon
It’s always satisfying to watch decks with shitty landbases get smoked by a bloodmoon on a stick. I can’t wait till wotc smartens up and gives a new layout to this guy with shroud, huar huar huar!
7. Your mom’s
I don’t really fear this card as much as I hate it, but for all intensive purposes lets just say I hate how people say this card is soo good…. And then it gets taken out by an ee. I think the correct phrase should be “hey man, I just sploded all over your mom.”
8. Xanted Swarm
You keep the stps in and they side their swarms in x3. You have x4 stp, and you still don’t draw it… fuck It I quit this game of logic.
9. Vendillion clique
A true test of a legacy players endurance is how many fae decks he can come across on mws in a few weeks of testing and how many WAIT WAIT DRAW STEP WAIT WAIT you can handle before you blow a nugget when they choose the wrong card to ship to your bottom. That’s why mws testings for champs boys!
10. Dreadnaught.
This would be substantially higher but every time I lose to naught it’s so quick the fear is over and then I get to sideboard .
Don't forget Cursed Monstrosity! So broken!Timmerian Fiends
Foot Soldiers
Brown Ouphie
Scornful Egotist
Chimney Imp
Goblin Snowman
Elder Land Wurm
Rysorian Badger
Roterothopter
and Chubtoad
Doubt Gatekeeper is 2nd best black guy of all time. Top 10 maybe, not number 2.
There are
Vampire Nighthawk
Juzam Djinn
Phyrexian Negator
Nantuko Shade
Hypnotic Specter
Abyssal Persecutor
Tombstalker
All of these (except Persecutor and Nighthawk, fellow new recruits) have seen more play than Gatekeeper has. Persecutor and Nighthawk have comparable potential, and while Juzam, Hyppie, and Negator are largely obsolete now, the impact they have had on the format is immense.
#1 Lackey
#2 Dark Confidant
#3 Iona
#4 Phyrexian Dreadnought
#5 Tarmogoyf
#6 Goblin Sharpshooter / Grim Lavamancer
#7 Tombstalker
#8 Rhox War Monk
#9 Trygon Predator
#10 Countryside Crusher
