You can fix the no-link problems (darn that [C1]!) by fitting in a [noparse*] flag between the [url*]. Example:

I moved this thread to the the Tournament section. Seems to make more sense here. Plus, if you would like to have the mods do something, PM them. Or rely on luck and hope they stumble across your thread. Seemed to work this time.

remove the asterisk.
I fixed your first two for example.
You just have to manually fix the [URL][/URL] tags when the autotagging fails (because of brackets in the link).
You can use [noparse] to avoid having tags parsed.
