A very thoughtful overview of this year's metagame evolution. I would have framed things differently, but I'll save that for another time.
I liked it a lot. Very straightforward and did not stray onto tangents of what I did last night type things. A good read overall in my opinion.
I agree... a very pleasant read that seems to sum things up nicely - thanks for sharing!!!
Now I'm curious to come back in a year and see what's changed
Take it easy,

When I step back and take a look at all that had changed over the past year, it's truly impressive. One of the reasons to love Legacy. Wonderful article.

The deck that wins the Philly $5K? 74/75 of the list I published in this article, and 65/65 of the cards I actually used during the tournament. Called shot?
Man I freaking love Legacy. I lost a game to a deck that opened on Mother of Runes and Weathered Wayfarer, in round 8 playing for top 8! Nick Coss baited a guy into using a Wasteland so that he could kill a Tombstalker with Karmic Justice! I spent the last few rounds pulling for Paul Lynch to top 8 cause he's a cool guy AND he was playing Merfolk (no ulterior motive...) and he had Absolute Law in his SB, the sneaky bastard - I didn't even know that card EXISTED! Don't even get me started on Burgeoning...
Oh yeah, like this is uncommon.I lost a game to a deck that opened on Mother of Runes and Weathered Wayfarer, in round 8 playing for top 8!
