How is the Legacy scene in St. Paul/Minneapolis? The Monster Den is the only store I'm aware of so far, but I'm curious to see what else is out there. My regular shop doesn't do Legacy, unfortunately for me and my budding aspirations.

And to be both the beggar and the chooser, I'm only interested in weekends. I can't be slinging cards on til 1am on a Tuesday, my job doesn't allow for fun like that.

    Thanks.

Wednesdays at Mead Hall usually ends by around 11:00. $15 buy in, $100 cash for 1st, cash down to 2-1-1. I believe they're also considering the occasional weekend tournament. Best new LGS in the Cities.

Dreamers does Legacy on Saturdays at 1:00, I think, but it's usually fairly small.

Universe Games has Legacy on Sundays sometimes, but it's a crapshoot whether it actually fires.

Monster Den has a pretty strong Legacy scene, with Thursday nights and the monthly Big 1.5s on Saturday.

Legion Games has Legacy on Tuesdays, usually with a decent turnout.

    City: Tourin, Italy
Where: Magic's Lair, Via Principessa Clotilde 75
    Close to: Piazza Statuto Nord
    When: Every Saturday, from 3pm
    Entry fee: $5
Prize: 3.5€ x number of players in top4
Average Showing: 25 to 35 people

It's a very cool place, kinda friendly but extremely competitive. Also they allows to proxy up to 10 cards, so it's never too expensive to assemble a deck (that's probably why there is such an healthy metagame).

Also in Milan there is the Casa dei Giochi, in Via Sant'uguzzone. It's most likely the best lgs in the region, there are tournaments every tuesday and saturday with usually 30 to 50 players, both in Legacy and Vintage.
There are a lot of pro in that lgs, people who actually know what they're doing, with a fuckload of top8.
The meta is healthy too there, even if they are really into Miracle.

Brand new store opened up Last week. I haven't been there myself yet but plan on going a lot since its 10 min away instead of 20-30 like all the other stores in my area.

Magic the Gathering Legacy 6pm-10pm $5.00
    400 N. Central Expressway Suite# 108, McKinney, Texas 75070
    (214) 973-5050

The rest of their tournament schedule can be found on their Facebook link below. It looks pretty good.

Anyone more familiar than I with the SE Michigan/Toledo area Legacy scene? Get Your Game On weeklys had pretty much been my only refuge so far, just curious if there are any stores that do bigger events occasionally.

    Re: Weekly 1.5 tournaments - Where's yours?

It just dawned one me that I have yet to mention our weekly Legacy Tournaments on MTS. *facepalm*

    Card Kingdom

    Seattle, WA
    206.523.9605

    When?: Every Monday at 6:30PM
    How Much?: $10 Entry
    How Many Rounds?: 4 Rounds
    Prizes?: X-0-0 = $60; X-0-1 = $40; X-1-0 = $20
Other information: We alternate between Sanctioned and Non to accommodate some WoTC Legacy Players.

We typically get ~30-40 players each week, making the event a great place to playtest for upcoming SCG:O/Legacy For Dual tournaments.
