    Shared Fate and Dredge

Of course with the recent GP looking at this incredibly odd tech, I was testing it out in my DDFT deck and played against a Dredge player over the kitchen table.

    Shared Fate

    Stinkweed Imp

I'm under the impression that the dredge player does NOT have the option to dredge (which is a may ability) since his draw is being replaced with Shared Fate's ability.

I'm not really sure though, since they're still both replacement effects and it'd be during his respective turn, when he's the active player.
I'm a musician and would love your support.

    Re: Shared Fate and Dredge

Both are replacement effects, so it's just a basic replacement effect interaction - the affected player/controller/owner gets to decide which one to apply. Any player can choose to dredge instead of using Shared Fate's replacement.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.
