cards I would definitely play if I had to play a deck built around ad nauseum and glaze fiend:

    4 duress
    4 dark ritual
    4 mox opal
    4 lotus petal
    4 lion's eye diamond
    4 glaze fiend
    4 vault of whispers

    some number of ad nauseum/tendrils
some number of mox diamonds or chrome moxes

    maybe cranial plating

    Anybody remember ANKH?

Was that Kobolds and Bushwhacker? Anyway, if it was, better than this because of five letters: haste.
This deck is going to lose 90% of its games on bad AN flips and having to wait for another turn.

    Re: Ad Nauseam Glaze Fiend

Here is the version that I built and played some time ago. It uses baubles and dark confidants so that it can win fast enough without ad nauseam in the opening hand. My logic at the time was that if I was focusing on ad nauseam too much as a wincon, it not only limited my card choices drastically, but I also might as well just go for the safer tendrils finisher instead of glaze fiend.

    list:

    ***glaze fiend RAWR***

    ***creatures***
    4 glaze fiend
    4 dark confidant
    4 ornithopter
    1 shield sphere

    ***other artifacts***
    1 cranial plating
    2 lightning greaves
    4 sensei's divining top
    4 mishra's bauble
    4 urza's bauble

    ***spells***
    4 duress
    4 cabal therapy
    1 diabolic intent
    1 ad nauseam

    ***mana***
    2 chrome mox
    3 opal mox
    4 dark ritual
    4 lotus petal
    4 vault of whispers
    1 darksteel citadel
    2 swamps
    1 urborg, tomb of yawgmoth
    1 volrath's stronghold

PS: cabal therapy is amazing when you have 0cc creatures to sack and ways to see their hand (baubles, duress, etc), and sensei's divining top is amazing in general. 2 sensei's + glazefiend = pay 1 mana: glazefiend gets +2/+2.
