    "Opponents" in multiplayer

Similar question. What does "Each opponent" in multiplayer game without team life and with team life?

Some people claimed that even co-players - even when they are certainly not opponnents in normal manner - are affected by such spells which in their explanation means:
In nonteam life - each player will be affected except player which cast spell
In team life - both teams will be affected.

    Is that correct?

Look up "opponent" in the rules.

    102.2. In a two-player game, a player's opponent is the other player.

102.3. In a multiplayer game between teams, a player's teammates are the other players on his or her team, and the player's opponents are all players not on his or her team.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.
