Cards which come to my mind:
Food Chain
Birthing Pod
Glimpse of Nature
Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician (probably too cute)
Krenko's Command(?)
Mana accelerators (Ancient Tombs for instance)
Perhaps something which should be discussed in a new threat?
2-2 today in our local legacy tournament (16 players)
R1 MonoB Pox
It was a pretty easy matchup. My opponent was new to legacy but played well and was very nice.
2-0
R2 U/B Tezzeret
He played Ancient Tomb > Chalice on one.
I Wasteland him.
He plays a Darkslick Shore, I wasteland him again.
From there on it's a grindy game. He drops a Batterskull, and a while later an ensnaring bridge. He also gets a Jace online. I Scrapper his Bridge, he brings it back after drawing an Academy Ruins. He gets Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry, but I have Sharpshooter. I manage to sneak a Skirk Prospector in past his Chalice and later draw Krenko and I am able to Sharpshooter him for the last 14 damage + extra.
G2 I go Warchief>Piledriver. He Toxic Deluges. I go Warchief>Piledriver again. He plays Ensnaring Bridge but is soon unable to keep his hand empty. he played a Tezzeret and +1, leaving him with Signet + FOW, and I attacked for lethal.
2-0
R3 ANT
G1 I keep a descent hand on the play with Lackey, Rishadan Port, Mogg War Marshal, Mountain + 3 Vial, but it's too slow.
G2 I keep a great hand of Badlands, 2 Wasteland, Piledriver, Cabal Therapy & Chalice of the Void. I play Cabal Therapy, hitting two brainstorms, revealing
Misty Rainforest, LED, Inf. Tutor, Probe, Abrupt Decay. My opponent draws Dark Ritual and Probes into Cabal Ritual and wins. In hindsight I should have played Chalice right away. He wouldn't have hade the mana to decay it anyway, and I would have been much better off.
0-2
R4 Dreadnaught Delver
G1 He gets Dreadnaught in play fairly soon, and there's not much I can do.
G2 Chalice for one counters most of his deck.
G3 He gets Dreadnaught t2 again.
1-2
MTG Legacy: Goblins VS Junk
http://youtu.be/L3QQ-1px7RI
I did a 60 people tourney last sunday, finished 3-3. Here's the list :
4 lackey
4 piledriver
4 matron
4 ringleader
4 vial
3 gempalm
3 tarfire
3 chieftain
2 warchief
2 tin street hooligan
2 mogg war marshal
2 krenko
3 mountain
4 ports
4 waste
4 caverns
6 fetches
2 taiga
side:
3 confusion in the ranks
3 mindbreak trap
3 krosan grip
3 pyrokinesis
2 relic of progenitus
1 grafdigger's cage .
I tried to be prepared for a lot of equipments ( 2 hooligan main + 3 krosan grip side ) , while relying on confusion against show and tell and mindbreak trap against storm ( i never see serious storm decks like ant and tes in my metagame, just belcher and all-spells that get both owned by trap. I also eliminated all the one- of to get a streamlined list good against fair decks.
Round 1 Reanimator ....
Loss 2-0.
first game he puts into play a blazing archon that i am not able to gempalm away before dying.
second game i have relic turn one but he have needle for it, then reanimates iona naming red.
Good way to start , they say.
Round 2 Shardless Bug
Win 2-1
The extra removal in tarfire is very good in this matchup because it kills everything except goyf. Krenko is unbeatable for them, thay can only bounce him with jace or kill with sideboard cards they bring in like toxic deluge. Fortunately he didn't see the deluge and despite golgari charm wiping away krenko's tokens once, i won.
Round 3 Omni- Halls
Loss 2-1
I win the first game on turn 4 because he doesn't see show and tell.
Second game he drops show and tell and i have confusion ... i feel like i have won but he shows in dream halls and does his combo anyway.
Third game is the same : show and tell shows confusion for me and dream halls for him.
I think i've been a bit unlucky because he had dream halls both times, but anyway I can't devote three slots in sideboard to such a specific card if it doesn't win the game every time. I think it is better to switch to reb and pyroblast which are more flexible.
Round 4 Shardless Bug
Win 2-1
Again , krenko is boss. Nothing else to say. Well, also double tin street hooligan is decent because he kills strixes and agents.
Round 5 tezzeret Affinity .
first game he mulls to 5 and i destroy his lone mox opal with hooligan.
second game he overwhelm me with cranial plating + loads of artifacts.
third game is more grindy but in the end he assemble the sword of the meek + thopter foundry combo that protect tezzeret until he ultimates and kills me.
Round 6 Veteran Explorer
Win 2-0
Both games his ramp with veteran explorer seemed to help more me than him.... i think he was a bit unlucky not seeing any of his fatties (grave titan , garruk) and always naming the wrong cards with cabal therapy. I sided in grafdigger's cage because it stops cabal therapy flashback an green sun's zenith, and it turned out to be relevant.
So , what to say .... the deck did what it was expected to do, beating fair decks and losing to combo and hyper-aggro strategies. It was disappointing that i never faced a true name nemesis deck... 3 of them were in top 8 and at least i would have liked to taste the matchup a little bit.

I have a tournament coming up for a set of GB fetchlands that I would love to play goblins at but I am terrified of just scooping to a show and tell deck. Is that a fear I just have to get over? I haven't played a non blue/black deck since San Diego zoo was original and not just zoo.
"eggs... why'd it have to be eggs"
Stingscourger does not help when they drop in a sneak attack or omniscience.
Question in todays meta:
What are the benefits of each splash color? i.e. green, white, black
white: Thalia, rest in peace, wear/tear, karakas, ethersworn canonist
green: ancient grudge, tin street hooligan, choke, pendelhaven, tranquil domain
black: cabal therapy, warren weirding, earwig squad, perish
am i missing anything?

This like the 5th video or so in a row where I see you playing "Mountain, Go."
Is it possible for you to write down your opening hands in each of those games, so I can see what's behind that? I really think that when you are not dropping anything on T1 you are already far behind in terms of speed. I mean obviously you did not have any troubles with that in the MUs you payed so far, but in a REAL tournament, against an UNKNOWN opponent I would only even keep a hand without a t1-play if I mulled to 5 before. Because, you know, you just might run into a combo deck or into a tempo deck and you basically have decided to throw that game away by not doing anything on t1.
MountainCaverns, Lackey, Go.
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchanges our apples, we each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange our ideas, we each have two ideas.
I did 4-0 in local tournament yesterday.

2-1 uw tnn
2-1 ur pyromancer+tnn
2-1 ubr pyromant
Do I read '3 God', as in Purphoros? Well, you went 4-0, but did Purphoros perform?
Yes in 3 games. Vs vegas bg, and vs uw I did 20 dmg in 2 turns 2 times.
But I dont like them.
2 siege need in uwr/rug/jund metagame. In combo metagame need 2 krenco instead.
In aggrocontrol meta we need 2-2 warchief-chieftain. In combometa need 4 warchief.
need second skirk in main. Because vs W we need to stay on up to 4 devotion. I used tarfires and gempalms to kill my goblins in resp to stp.

@ Goblin vs Junk:
- If the hand was something along the lines of 3 lands, MWM, Chieftain, Gempalm, something, I'd keep it on the play against unknown opponent. If your opponent is not combo, it is a quite ok hand. Not the best, but not something I'd mulligan.
- Attacking with Chieftain T4 was wrong. He was worth more than a Deathrite.
- Watch your opoonent mana. He couldn't cast Relicary that way, not that it mattered.
- Keep posting those!
@Anvil: He killed his goblins because StP was targeting Purphoros, and he wanted to decrease devotion. IMO if you want to kill your own guy to make your God stick, and your opponent don't want to kill your goblins, but wants to kill Purphoros, it means he is very good. I'll be getting 3 to test as soon as I can.
@Cards Chatto want to test: Build a different deck. Tested all (minus Ancient Tomb) in Vial Goblins, and none was worth it...
Super Bizarros Team. Beating everything with small green dudes and big waves.
Aha, like that :) thanks everyone!
