    [EDH] The Poor Man's Solution

As the Source's Budget Mascot, and the fact that the price of Legacy and EDH is at its all time high, have decided to build an 'pauper' EDH (Outside of the General)

The reason why its not real pauper is because the general itself is Mythic but everything else in the deck should be common.

I tried following d0su's build from MTGSalvation but I feel that the eternal minds from the Source can help on making it better while keeping the spirit of being a pauper.

Here is d0su's build (using Child of Alara as general)

It essentially plays like a control deck, using recursion to gain card advantage. Although outside ideas would be good. Any constructive comments?
I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

Re: [EDH] The Poor Man's Solution

I actually have a 5 color peasant deck that is Slivers using Dragonsoul Knight to bind colors and beat face

    Recommendations for you:

    Hull Breach
    Orim's Thunder
    Dismantling Blow
    Oona's Grace
    Keep Watch

    Less good:
    Rend Flesh
    Eyeblight's Ending
    Chill to the Bone
    Relic Crush

Anything with Buyback is worth looking at.

I agree with the rest of the post, but not this. Instant speed destruction of two on the board permanents for five mana is completely worth it, always.
Rishadan Port is like scuba gear.
