Here we go, crazy shit incoming:
4x Young Pyromancer
4x Dark Confidant
4x Stoneforge Mystic
3x Hidden Stockpile
4x Cabal Therapy
1x Thoughtseize
4x Swords to Plowshares
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Lingering Souls
1x Umezawa's Jitte
1x Batterskull
2x Kolaghen's Command
2x Liliana of the Veil
1x Vindicate
4x Wasteland
3x Arid Mesa
3x Marsh Flats
2x Bloodstained Mire
2x Scrubland
2x Badlands
1x Plateau
2x Swamp
1x Plains
1x Mountain
1x Karakas
Token engine that abuses Cabal Therapy in a big way, resilient to spot removal, fairly aggressive clock, best removal available, sideboard hate cards are very good (once I get around to figuring that out...)
Is Hidden Stockpile good enough? The scry along with Dark Confidant seems very good, and it already rewards fetchlands/Wastelands with some cheap token generation. Goblin Bombardment is available, but maybe not good enough. I see this deck being good against fair decks and decent against combo. Engine-based decks that are also fast (Lands mostly) seem to be good against it, but not absurdly so. Would really like to get some feedback on this, it seems like a blast to play.

Did you wrapped up and tested it yet?
It's the best way to know if it have legs or not.
Hidden stock pile could be interesting for tokens generation but I don't see it as an excellent source of scry due to the sac + mana cost. For the scry function Mirri's guile or library are the best but they need the 4th color.. Could be ok to try faithless looting instead of stock pile: provide card selection, trigger pyromancer, put flashback cards in the yard (+ k command buyback)
Haven't tested yet, I just put the list together a few days ago. I think tokens are a great strategy ATM. They are aggressive but get by targeted removal, especially if YP can be protected with discard. It plays all the best non-blue removal and fair spells in the format, with the possible exception of Punishing Fire. Tokens outgrind fair decks, sideboard bomb-level hate cards deal with combo and blue decks. I'm not saying its perfect, but it seems very good in theory.
I think the scry will be incredibly good, and I'll tell you why:
1) a fetchland gives a token, and sacrificing the token for a scry gives you another token. It's a scry engine, and gives more fodder for Cabal Therapy, possibly Goblin Bombardment if I go that route.
2) it's just another way to get extra tokens and maintain blockers/pressure. It doesn't do anything by itself, which is dangerous, but I think that's the tradeoff for how powerful it could be.
3) Over a 5+ round tournament, the scry value will add up. There will be games where top-decks will matter and a way to find hate will be a priority.
4) Someone has already attempted this in a Bombardment shell: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles...ardment-legacy
I am just taking in a more token-based direction without playing bad cards like Grave Pact.

Always been a sucker for Team Italia. But when I was about to play the deck (got all the duals and such) the deck fell out of favor. Will definitely try this build. Played a bit of Zombardment in the past, token strategy is definitely not a bad idea right now.
I see the card could have some value, definitely needs some testing to check out if it works properly or it's under-performing. Legacy is powerful format and many great interaction cannot work here because the established strategies and decks are just too strong

Just looking at the deck, you see: Bob for card advantage, Stockpile for selection/token engine, and a dense deck full of powerful individual spells. I think it passes the legacy 'straight-face test'.

Gerry T placed well at the Modern PT with "Mardu Pyromancer" is there anything to it for Legacy? I was trying to find cards that it would gain in Legacy but not coming up with anything.
4x Bedlam Reveler does seem like it can keep a deck churning in Modern but maybe in a Grixis shell for Legacy would be better.
Faithless Looting is a pretty solid draw engine that's been largely unexplored outside of dedicated GY decks. But in Modern it shows up in more fair strategies like the Pyromancer deck and also the Hollow One deck. The Sam Black Zombie deck was pretty much Dega and that was super explosive with Looting.
Not sure those synergies can compete with the most optimized UBxx decks but they are strong.
Cabal Therapy and Unearth are the big ones I think.
Cabal Therapy is big game with YP/Souls I think. I'm not sure Bloodghast is strong enough outside of Zombardment, but it's another option that works with Therapy. Therapy is really the reason to be playing this; it's essentially free with YP/Stockpile because both trigger to make another token.
Unearth does seem to be spicy, but I'm not sure it would be needed. I think Kolaghan's Command x1-2 would be a lot stronger, having a big impact on the format as a whole (Chalice, equips, small dudes, getting back YP/Bob/Mystic, instant speed discard.)
How funny would it be to go back to Zendikar standard and fetch up Basilisk Collar to go on a pinger? It used Cunning Sparkmage but we have access to Grim Lavamancer. My jank-radar also puts Blood-forged Battle-Axe in the list of possibilities.
I don't think taking it the Zombardment route is particularly exciting; that has already been done. Tokens however could be a new way to abuse this color combination. It sacrifices cantrips (blue) for a redundant setup that can use Dark Confidant for CA and Stockpile as another token engine that also happens to filter. Are they as good as the Cantrip Cartel? No, we all know that. But is it good enough to carve a niche in the format where it can grind out fair matchups while not auto-losing to combo? That's the question.

1x containment priest
1x toxic deluge
1x umezawa’s jitte
1x engineered explosives
1x diabolic edict
3x wear//tear
4x surgical extraction
1x duress
I got first going 3-0-1 drawing against D&T and beating omnitell, an enchantressb/bogles hybrid, and beating D&T in the final round. Grenzo was awesome. Stole a flickerwisp and cast some cantrips against omnitell. Driven//despair also drew me 4 cards and made the enchantress player discard 4 cards. I’ve since taken out one unearth for a zealous persecution in the main. In the sideboard, I’ll take out one wear//tear for a hide//seek. I want to play the fourth cabal therapy over the fourth thoughtseize, but I’m fairly new to legacy and not very confident in my names. The list felt good and I’ll try it again next week.
So this was Gerry's list for the pro tour.
If we want to port it over to legacy, how does something like this look?Code:1 Liliana of the Veil 4 Young Pyromancer 4 Bedlam Reveler 4 Faithless Looting 1 Dreadbore 2 Collective Brutality 4 Lingering Souls 4 Inquisition of Kozilek 3 Thoughtseize 4 Lightning Bolt 2 Fatal Push 1 Terminate 1 Manamorphose 3 Kolaghan's Command 2 Blood Moon 4 Blackcleave Cliffs 2 Swamp 3 Mountain 1 Sacred Foundry 2 Blood Crypt 4 Bloodstained Mire 4 Marsh Flats 2 Collective Brutality 1 Liliana of the Veil 2 Molten Rain 1 Ghost Quarter 3 Surgical Extraction 2 Nihil Spellbomb 1 Anger of the Gods 2 Wear // Tear 1 Fulminator Mage
