Reanimator
In the Mtgo dailies, you always play against Hive Mind at least once. I've never lost a match to Hive Mind yet, its almost an impossible match for them to win. Reanimator is faster, more consistent, and has better protection (12 free counters).
If the Hive Mind player does combo off...then they lose to daze and/or flusterstorm. Also, they usually don't have any gy hate, and their show and tell would neutralize it even if they did.
Blue Zoo > Merfolk against combo. Wild Nacatl and friends is a faster creature base, and Force/Daze/Misstep/Brainstorm is there all the same. I play Spell Pierce and Pyroblast in the board as well, so that matchup is a bye. The Steppe Lynx/Daze/Wasteland version is even better against it. Combo is so badly positioned right now. Hive Mind at least shrugs off Mental Misstep, but Stoneblade seems like a hard matchup. Standstill? Ouch.
