[EDH] Mana sinks for monowhite aggro-control

I'm running mono W Voltron, alternating between Akroma and Linvala.

Basicly I have beaters of the angel variety, equipment package, sweepers and little lifegain subtheme.

I'm looking for good mana sinks.

    Any input is welcome.

Mirror Entity is the most obvious one. What are you looking to do? How much mana are you looking to spend?

Doesn't seem that useful. I usually have one big dude with equipment out. Entity seems good with tokens / swarms. Board of Mirror Entity plus Akroma seems meh.

Anything useful AKA draw cards, gain life, make tokens (to dodge edict effects), etc.

I dunno, 10+ per turn? The situation mainly comes up when I have something like Gauntlet of Power + 5-10 lands and just sit there attacking.

    Decks that I care about:
    Steel Stompy
    UWx Landstill
    Dreadstalker
    DDFT (10% practice)

Mangara on MWS? You must be masochistic. -kiblast

Since you're in the color, I'd like to share my new favorite combo: restarting the game via Karn Liberated with Barren Glory or Felidar Sovereign.
I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

I'm thinking about running Book of Rass in addition to Mind's Eye. Any other good colorless / white card draw?

Edit: Vengeful Archon seems good. Does not prevent me from being comboed or drained, but at worst it is a beater.

Student of Warfare works well with your equipment.
Don't know how particularly good it is, but Armistice is white card draw.

    Other sinks...
    Gerrard's Battle Cry
    Deathless Angel

There's really not much in white... Mirror Entity is probably the best one. Too bad it doesn't fit your deck

Illuminated Folio is really good in my Mono-W EDH deck. It's a bad topdeck but SICK if you tutor for it/draw it early enough.
The E.P.I.C. Syndicate: I mean, if they play a lullaby for babies they should at least play the Monster Mash when somebody dies.

Decree of Justice seems good as a mana sink, if you don't already have it in there. Planar Portal, while slow at first, is a pretty good mana sink as well.

If you aren't already running Storm Herd you are doing it wrong

    And Martial Coup deserves recognition.

This. I have pulled off enough wins via a huge Martial Coup followed by a Mirror Entity.

Surprised White Sun's Zenith hasn't been mentioned yet.

I never really liked WSZ on my mono-white EDH. I am running Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero

What's not to like? You create 2/2 cats at instant speed and then shuffle it back into your deck for later. Granted that the cats don't really have any synergy with Lin Sivvi, but they seem like a nice target for Mirror Entity.

Thanks for all replies. For reference, I also asked this question on EDH forums. Check the link for some wacky ideas :)
