    Activating During Blocking

    Alright...

I was attacking with my Lodestone Golem. This dude had a 4/4 Knight of the Reliquary. He/she block the attacking Golem with the KotR and in response, my opponent taps the KotR to grab a Misty Rainforest and cracking it for a Tundra. KotR becomes a 6/6.

The question is does the KotR deal 6 damage to my Golem?

Also, to that player I played with on Cockatrice, good luck with your GP quest. Hopefully you don't play against players with the same attitude as yours.
I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

    Re: Activating During Blocking

Yes, it deals 6 damage to your Golem.

506.4b Tapping or untapping a creature that's already been declared as an attacker or blocker doesn't remove it from combat and doesn't prevent its combat damage.
