Hello,
I know this is likely the wrong site. I couldn't find a general/mishmash sub-forum.
I know that gatherer is not infalliable, but they have the "Tower" picture as U2 and the rest U1.
Why is it that the "Tower" Pic generally sells for higher, and why is there a variance in cost amongts the U1 rarity Strip Mine's?
Just curious.
Kind regards,

Because Magic players, at heart, are all juvenile delinquents and the "tower" art is more generally refered to as the "penis" art. It's kind of like how winter Mishra's Factories were always the most desirable even though they aren't any rarer than summer or spring (with white bordered ones, fall is the most common art by far). Purely asthetic. Unlike, say, how wolf Hymns are the best Hymn to Tourach, having a much larger impact on the game than the lesser Hymns.
Edit: And Ruckus beat me to it...
Thank you both for confirming!
