LED+Echo can be very explosive, but it can also dig the opponent into more cards and FoWs.
I think if you're going to risk the downsides of LED+Echo, you might as well a combo deck that just wins right away. Both Belcher and Song of Creation can do this effectively. (By "combo" I don't mean attacking with a 14/14 non-evasive green creature, I mean casting Tendrils of Agony Storm 15 on turn 1-2 or Empty the Warrens for 16 goblins on turn 1).
I doubt a fair deck wants to be playing LED + Echo, but maybe this one does work.
Echo would have been nice if it was a Wheel effect instead.
Echo doesn't discard, it shuffles your hand back to the library.
On the other note, why isn't Rielle, the Everwise being discussed. The deck is already projected to run LED.
You discard your hand, you draw that many cards with Rielle. Instead of Echo, you can run Breakthrough. You discard what you draw (triggering madness), then redraw for each you discarded.
Perhaps, run Dack Fayden for more value?
On top of that, you run Mr.Safety's package of broken R/B cards.
It’s worth emphasizing the opponent cannot account or prepare for random discard when it’s symmetrical. Through testing, Burning Inquiry could prove quite useful as a symmetrical cantrip. Combo players could be adequately distrupted by it, while playing first could mean having a land while the opponent is stuck with too many or too few lands. Also hiding cards on top in response with brainstorm is also not possible because it’s a symmetrical draw 3. It might be frustrating at first to play with yourself but I imagine that opponent being unfamiliar with randomness will be far more irritated by playing against it than the familiar player. Playing it is like favoring symmetrical inconsistency while Legacy players typically thrive outside of randomness altogether. Its also a potential turn 1 play which makes it potent like most other openings in legacy. That it could lead into Hollow One and or Vengevines means it’s even better as an opener. Do you Force Burning Inquiry? Maybe hmm... In the right build it might not be a bad topdeck as well.
If you want to go that route and play Burning Inquiry, I feel like Entomb leads into Echo of Eons resets two zones and
it doesn’t need to be thought about as an engine necessarily. LED is also excellent with EoE. I would build from that perspective and the aggro strategies because they rely on too many parts.
Notion Thief and control madness parts like Circular Logic look more promising. Also Cephalid Colosseum is 6 card advantage with Notion Thief. Target the opponent, you draw three they discard 3. And with Burning Inquiry I draw 6, the opponent and I each discard 3 at random.
Curfew is another symmetrical card that seems quite good against Show and Tell and Reanimator.. Could be good with Snapcaster Mage as well.
Luck is a residue of design.

just add a splash of green for abrupt decay and life from the loam.
punishing fire and grove of the burnwillows is an easy inclusion
I really like Burning Inquiry. I never considered it when I copied this list:

a "newer" card was recently printed: geier reach sanitarium is another "draw & discard" effect

I approve of any deck with 4x Chains of Mephistopheles. (the linked list) Chains-Anvil combo is an oldie but goodie.
Why have we not considered the literal designed for madness tribal edh decks anje & anje's ravager?
Ravager is a bit slow without acceleration.
But in another thread I brewed this Madness Stompy deck, using Ravager and Bazaar Trademage. It isn't super competitive but plays out surprisingly well with the card draw and madness interactions, backed by the resistors.
//Lands: 22
4 Ancient Tomb
4 City of Traitors
4 Misty Rainforest
4 Scalding Tarn
3 Tropical Island
3 Volcanic Island
//Prison: 8
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Thorn of Amethyst
//Creatures: 30
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Bazaar Trademage
4 Champion of Wits
4 Anje's Ravager
4 Vengevine
4 Hollow One
3 Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath
3 Ox of Agonas
Trademage, Champion and Ravager enable the draw/discard engine for Hollow One and Rootwalla (which sometimes gets countered by Chalice, but it's the worst body so who cares). They also count as creature spells, which is pretty critical for helping enable easy Vengevine plays. Finally, you have cards like Uro and Ox as backup threats and card draw when plan A has failed, with all the draw/discard and fetchlands helping to fill up escape fuel.
Turn 1 Chalice / Thorn is pretty important for slowing down other decks enough for this to work.
Upgrade time, there’s a new Masticore on the block.
