    [GP] Indianapolis Thread

Any Sourcers going? We should meet up.

Definitely not a response to Matt's GP Seattle Thread.

Is anyone from Toronto going to this?
I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

Eww. Iowa people? I didn't realize there *were* people in Iowa, I thought it was just a vast wasteland between Wisconsin and Nebraska.

I'll be there with my old roommate. No idea what I'm playing yet. I've got about half a dozen "possible" decks. Looking for one that beats god draws out of RUG Delver without sucking it up to the rest of the format. My finish in Lincoln will net me a bye. It's technically possible, but highly improbable, that if the PTQ in Madison next weekend is large enough and I do well enough, that I could hit 2 byes. It'd require a 10 round PTQ and I'd have to go 10-0 and then win out the T8. Seems pretty unlikely.

Does anyone know if the PWP you get from the grinders on Friday will post to the interwebz fast enough to count for Saturday? That seems like a much easier plan for getting a second bye, if that'd work.

Just wait until SCG Des Moines. You'll see LOADS of them.

I just booked an expensive-ass room about 3 miles away from Lucas Oil Stadium along with a round-trip Amtrak ticket (the station is conveniently located directly in between Lucas Oil and the convention center), so I'll be there. I know a few more from Minneapolis are coming as well.

This is false; Iowa does not exist.

I'll be there for sure. My travel mates aren't Sourcers, though, so may not be able to attend a meet-and-greet unless it's somewhere with excellent beer to begin with. lol

There will be an Erie contingent at the Grand Prix.

Somebody from it will make Day Two. A couple will be agonizingly close. A couple will play hilariously badly. This is the Team Lake Effect Way.

All of us will, unlike the last GP, come home with the decks we registered.

Any basketball fans out there; if I scrub out of the main, there's a Chicago Bulls game at 7pm on 3/10 I'm going to shoot for. Anybody wants in, PM me and we can talk about it.

For the love of gawd don't solo a 12hr. I have done that once before and NEVER AGAIN!
I would sooner relocate some homeless people or pick up hitchhikers.
Surely you can find some locals, or make some slight detours in order to carpool with magical traveling companions.

Oh... I will also be in attendence (IN native). I mean even if i scrub out day1 there is a big tcgplayer legacy tournament there sunday.
Tthere is a big standard tcgplayer one saturday if you need to lure nonlegacy players on the trip BTW.

Yep, will be there with at least 1 other sourcer from colorado. :) There are definitely more that we regularly play with that can't make it out though.

Have you seen Field of Dreams? Bite your tongue.

I'll be there. Look for an asian guy. Oh wait.

Um, Source playmat, foil/FBB RUG Delver, will possibly ask you to trade. That's better

Likely one of my last large events before I start my job, so I would love to see Sourcers if I can.
