I live in Hotlanta. I can tell you when the GP rolls around in a couple of months it's going to be 3428239408 degrees with 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% humidity.
We have a pretty good legacy scene with 30 if school is in and more during summers for the weekly Wednesday at SuperGames in Atlanta.
If you get in early (wednesday) you should come up to the weekly.
This is available every 40 feet in the greater Atlanta area in the form of Waffle House. There's also Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles in downtown if you've ever wanted to know how it feels to be the only white person at a restaurant. That has actual fried chicken and waffles, as opposed to Waffle House which is just a grilled chicken breast.
Have they announced whether the Atlanta GP will actually be in Atlanta or up at something like the Gwinician Center for Urban Sprawl? Last one was packed into the sub basement of the Marriott and was terrible.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel

Fair. I'm not white either, but I look white. Regardless of your ethnic background the food is good. If the GP is downtown again it's a 2-3 block walk from where it was last held. Otherwise the food downtown (besides the highend stuff like Mortons, or maybe RC kitchen) is pretty wretched.

Pretty sure this is where you want to be in Atlanta, At least for a meal. Shit's delicious. I highly recommend the Vortex "Fondue"
Menu looks like entirely generic bar food. No offense, but it's going to take a hell of a lot of convincing for me to believe a place that's put so much effort into style actually has any substance.

Believe me, the style has more to do with the area (or corporate attitude) than being a cliche selling point. Vortex burgers have won lots of local food awards. But, I like burgers piled with odd things, tots & cheese, and beer. Not so much on the chicken and waffles.

Using a card's printed text may be the worst way to start a technical discussion on how to play cards. Please read the Oracle text for Candelabra of Tawnos:
