Play Ensnaring Bridge, in this deck it's a 3-mana Moat. Liliana of the Veil has great synergy, making sure hands stay small while you load up on tokens.

How about Elspeth or Sorin? They seem like a perfect fit for the deck.

Ah! I was wondering if there was a thread for Legacy B/W Tokens. I have been running a deck like this for the last couple of months. I haven't played it in any real Legacy tourneys yet but it has been doing very well for me in casual Legacy games so far. It is certainly no joke.

The goal of mine is to play or tutor out Bitterblossom on the first couple of turns like Stoneforge goes after Jitte, while protecting it with discard. Then playing tokens and fetching whatever the matchup calls for. The sideboard is similarly heavy on silver bullets. Sure, a Tranquility would suck, but in this meta it is pretty rare, so this is a rogue's feast of tokens.

    BW Tokens Legacy

    4x cabal therapy
    4x castigate

    4x enlightened tutor
    2x diabolic intent

    4x bitterblossom
    4x lingering souls
    4x spectral procession

    4x intangible virtue
    2x oblivion ring
    1x umezawa's Jitte

    3x sorin, Lord of innistrad
    1x elspeth tirel

    1x vault of the archangel
    2x Godless Shrine
    4x scrubland
    4x Isolated chapel
    4x marsh flats
    4x swamp
    4x plains

    2x pithing needle
    1x stony silence
    2x ethersworn cannonist
    3x rest in peace
    1x humility
    1x mind slash
    1x contamination
    2x oblivion ring
    2x engineered plague

    Hi guys,
I play this list for a long time now and will add some comments with it :

    1 Bayou
    1 Karakas
    2 Scrubland
    3 Plains
    3 Swamp
    4 Marsh Flats
    4 Wasteland
    4 Windswept Heath

    2 Mirran Crusader
    4 Deathrite Shaman
    4 Stoneforge Mystic

    2 Liliana of the Veil
    3 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad

    1 Batterskull
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
    1 Umezawa's Jitte

    3 Sensei's Divining Top
    3 Bitterblossom
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    2 Vindicate
    4 Cabal Therapy
    4 Lingering Souls

    SB: 2 Perish
    SB: 2 Zealous Persecution
    SB: 2 Oblivion Ring
    SB: 3 Silence
    SB: 3 Rest in Peace
    SB: 3 Ethersworn Canonist

At the beginning, I was playing spectral procession too as 5th to 8th copies of lingering souls but this spell is pushing the manabase too far (3 whites) for a version running Liliana of the veil.
I tried a new version playing some other plan than swarming the board :

    A flyers package :

Bitterblossom and Lingering souls are just the best token generators. I play only 3 bitter because i play some other 2 cc bombs.

Pw plan : disruption and Win condition

Liliana is a versatile card and deck running black have to play it. It is strong against combo and aggro-control decks, and pretty effective against heavy control deck. Lingering soul + liliana is an easy path to the victory.
Sorin is fit for this deck, all abilities are useful at a time : he can stall the board (giving us life and a body each turn), push our aggro forward (his emblem can't be removed from the game, virtue can be shut down) and his ultimate is pretty insane (he is a good counter to Jace decks)

Stoneforge plan : Stalling and Win condition

The best white plan works so fine with Flyers with the classical package (Jitte / Batterskull / SOFI). Jitte with the new legend rules will be very hard to remove from the board.

    Some creatures : Win condition

The major problem of this deck is that it lacks solutions against engineering explosives (0) and early pernicious dead so one solution is to offer some other threat in other CC range.
Deathrite shaman is the best 1 drop atm. He can be a mana dork, a life gain and a pressure. He can also be a preboard hate grave a nice counter to t1 lackey.
Mirran crusader is just insane against BUG decks and become deadly with some equipment. This beater is unconditional.

    Some Utility slot :

8 fetchs and 3 sensei divining top offer a draw filter engine.
2 Vindicate because this card is a paragon of versatility even if its 3 CC is sometime too slow. With the 4 Wasteland it can become a mana denial plan.

The sideboard is very combo oriented because we don't have T0 solution as blue decks. I play silence over other discard effects because he can be used even if your opponent have Leyline in play.
The O-ring are against S&T decks.
Some reinforcement against grave decks (can be used against RUG) and some solution against elves (zealous + perish) and gob (zealous). Perish can give us a solution against NO + progy.

This deck is very fun to play because it got a lot of winning condition. I'm wondering about playing a 61 MD cards for the third Liliana.

I'm sorry if it is not the good thread !

I think humility is an absolute must in this deck. I would run 2 at the very least.

    @Mrhelzenberg
That looks like a very very solid deck. I love Liliana in my super brutal Pox deck. You synergized those threats well. Good to have a plan for the odd engineered explosives, as I dont. If you really want a third Liliana for 61, I say do it. If a card would be that great I often have an extra card or two in there if I feel I really need it and the proportons of the deck are good, including the land, and I very rarely notice the .001 chance it would mess up your draw.

Humility is a bomb for sure. I would mandeck it except for creatureless matchups plus I like my flyers and lifelink. But it is the answer for aggro for sure. I side one cause I can fetch it easily when I need it with 6 tutors.

    @mrhiezenburg

I love that list but tha is pretty much a junkblade deck (BWg stoneblade). Tokens is more about using anthems and overhwelming them with lots of tokens.

    Re: W/b Token Mania!

sdematt posted a tokens + Humility list in The Rock thread which piqued my interest in this archetype again. I think the tokens strategy was much better when Miracles was still in the format, but Humility is just as strong as ever, and I enjoy spamming tokens.

This is the list I'd start off with:

    W/b Tokens

    Lands (21)
    4 Marsh Flats
    4 Windswept Heath
    2 Verdant Catacombs
    4 Scrubland
    1 Savannah
    4 Plains
    1 Swamp
    1 Karakas

    Creatures (8)
    4 Deathrite Shaman
    4 Stoneforge Mystic

    Spells (31)
    4 Bitterblossom
    4 Lingering Souls
    4 Spectral Procession
    2 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
    4 Thoughtseize
    4 Cabal Therapy
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    2 Humility
    1 Umezawa’s Jitte
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
    1 Batterskull

    Sideboard (15)
    2 Zealous Persecution
    2 Containment Priest
    2 Enlightened Tutor
    1 Ethersworn Canonist
    1 Seal of Cleansing
    1 Circle of Protection: Red
    1 Rest in Peace
    1 Engineered Plague
    1 Engineered Explosives
    1 Pithing Needle
    1 Ensnaring Bridge
    Sligh
    Echo Stompy
    /r Miracle Intuition
    Yorion's Intuition
    5c Hollow Vine

Really like that list thought I feel this deck needs Chrome Mox, and maybe like some Phyrexian Arena as a 1-of in the way many green decks started playing Sylvan Library as a 1-of.

More than anything though, I want to add Chrome Mox. t1 Bitterblossom or SFM seems brutal.

What about Devout Invocation? Steep mana cost but goes along the lines of the deck.
