The announcement of Temporal Mastery raised the question if Brainstorm should be banned in Legacy because Brainstorm effectively makes it a Time Walk. Now since Reforge the soul has been leaked as well, the issue with Brainstorm became even more urgent because Brainstorm makes it a Wheel of Fortune for 2 mana and Wheel of Fortune is banned in Legacy. so what's your view on this, should brainstorm be banned?
I don't know. But you know what would make me jump on the "BAN Brainstorm, NAAAAAOOOOWWW" bandwagon? If the people calling for Brainstorm's ban actually dominate tournaments with Brainstorm + Miracle cards, not just predict every 1st place or top 8 is going to have 100% BS and anti-BS decks. Stop telling everyone to emergency ban and just win tournaments. Not directed at OP, just in general to the Nostradami predicting the 2012 end-of-the-world for Legacy/Brainstorm.
My view is that this thread should be closed before it's too late
If you fail to explain the reason behind your choice, technically, it's the wrong choice.

The only rule in Legacy should be that if the combination of a card with the old frame and one with the new frame breaks the format, the new frame card gets banned. End of discussion.

Compared to Wheel of Fortune Reforge the Soul has the problem that you can't cast it after you casted your Rituals so it has much less Combo potential.
I think it's pretty clear that:
- People who want X cards banned want them banned.
- People who don't want X cards banned don't want them banned.
- Neither side is going to be convinced.
I suggest closing this topic. Keep the banned talks in the ban list topic.
