    Supression Field and activated abilities outside of the field

    Does Suppression Field affect cards with cycling (Forgotten Cave or suspended cards (such as Greater Gargadon)?

    I am convinced that WotC is "dumbing" the game because of all the stupid posts they come across on MTG-related forums

    Cycling is an activated ability.
    Gargies sacrifice is an activated ability.

    X : X is always an activated ability. Suppression fields only qualifier is mana abilities.

    It affects all activated abilities that aren't mana abilities.

    Suspend is not an activated ability, but it does affected suspended cards with activated abilities just like any other activated ability.
