I don't know. Our weekly Legacy tournaments at our LGS are on Saturday...

Don't you wish it was on a saturday? I mean you don't go to ALL the tournaments.

I don't really care either way. I only go to the tournaments that are worth my time.

I'm not going to go to a store credit tournament for $15 entry if it's super out of the way.
I'm not going to go to a tournament on Sunday if it's for FTV Legends.
    etc

Re: Why aren't legacy tournaments ever on a saturday?

All our weekly/monthly Legacy tournaments over here are on Saturday. Modern usually on Tuesday. What's the point of this entire thread anyways?
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

My local weekly legacy event is on Wednesdays. Usually the same crowd.

    There bigger events on Saturday.

And my local weekly Legacy event... doesn't exist at all. So yeah, suck it up that you can't always play on the day you want. At least you get a regular group at all.

(In many areas without a big Legacy scene,) If you play Legacy, you're more inclined to just be fucking grateful that a LGS would even consider holding a tournament so it doesn't matter when the event is held because the people in the surrounding area will try to bend over backward to show up.

Mainly Saturday in Ontario, the odd tournament will run on Sunday, because they know that the other tournaments are Saturday.
