The question is, at the time legacy dies, how good is modern? At the moment itscCasual combos and not that skillintensive or even fun for me.. but the Cardpool will get bigger and bigger.
Nevertheless cube seems like the perfect idea.

Truth be told, I haven't played Legacy in a couple of years now. Strictly Cube, and loving it.
Lol just because Legacy dies doesn't mean you have to stop playing Legacy.

This poll is pretty bad, it assumes ahead of time that you don't already play other formats.
I'm not going to "switch to" anything, I'm going to continue playing the other formats that I already play.

I'd only do something different if our local scene died out. I'd probably just play release events and sell off some of my higher-value stuff that isn't on the reserve list.
I think the biggest thing is the deep seeded emotional understanding that the right play is the right play regardless of outcomes. The ability to make a decision 5 straight times, lose 5 times because of it, and still make it the 6th time if it's the right play. - Jon Finkel

I'll likely continue playing using an open source program. It's infinitely more convenient, and I like the UI better for things like cockatrice (helps that I can sling Qt and mod the interface to taste).

I should cut my losses now and not mention all the other dumb shit I have.
Keep buying Beta duals and build a house out of them, since I could sell all my Legacy stuff.
