    What about Bob? Flipping Windgrace is gonna hurt.

    If Jund goes big, does anyone think Sin Prodder could see play? Like a Jund Super-Friends or something?

    I've been having some successes with this list. Changing little things, like Chandra vs Bloodbraid Elf. but the deck actually feels okay. its sort of odd looking but plays alright. i am in the camp that the deck cant afford to run 3 wasteland any more, but you can play the 1 and not get color screwed. 2 was pushing it.

    Nice job on the various tournaments. Next week I am going to GP Portland to sell and buy some cards, after that I plan on playing a bunch of jund (also streaming leagues perhaps). Gotta keep the jund flame alive.

    Hey guys, I'm not a jund player (though I think the deck is sweet as hell), but the tournament I went to yesterday was taken down by a guy playing jund. I don't have much info on the deck but here is a picture of the mainboard. The guy was telling me he swears by bomat courier. The 4th courier is cut off by the picture but he is running 4 of them not 3.

    Interesting list. What are the 12 cards that was cut off from the photo? My guess is 4 bomat courier, 3 thought seize, 3 lighting bolts and 2 swamp.

    Yes that is correct. There is only 1 bomat courier cut off of the picture on my computer, I didn't know it looked different on other peoples web browsers

    This thread seems dead, is there a discord server people are using?

    I have been brewing and really like Wren and Six in Jund.

    Re: [Deck] Jund

    Modern Horizons may have given Jund a boost with some new toys to play with. A 43-player tournament in Brazil over the weekend had 2 Jund decks in the top 8.

    The 2nd place deck had 4 Wrenn and Six and 2 Nurturing Peatland main deck (along with 3 Mox Diamond), and 1 Plague Engineer in the side board.

    The 3rd place deck 3 Wrenn and Six, 1 Nurturing Peatland, and 2 Seasoned Pyromancer main deck, and 2 Force of Vigor, 1 Plague Engineer, and 1 Weather the Storm in the side board.

    I just played against a Jund deck with Arcum's Astrolabe and the ability to play Blood Moon; seemed sweeet.

    Did it also have BBE? Seems like a bit of a non-bo, but not the worst, maybe.

    Yeah, he actually cascaded into Blood Moon in both post board games. Like you said, cascading into Astrolabe is prob. underwhelming even if it replaces itself, but I'm sort of intrigued by the general idea: being able to play three colors and still play Blood Moon->obviously one is red->prob. avoiding blue because of Blood Moon's nonbo with fetches and BS->so either , , or . Although you don't get some of the synergies in other colors, like Teferi bouncing Astrolabe and Oko making an Astrolabe elk.

    I'd also guess it was a sans-Punishing Fire build?

    That was always a sort of simultaneous weakness and strength, that the mana base was a bit soft and inconsistent. I'd just wonder how effective Blood Moon really is though, now, in the wide meta, give the number of Snow-Astrolabe decks running around. But it likely isn't all that bad an idea. You could even go real wild and try Destructive Flow as well, for a true Nedleeds-style.

    Re: [Deck] Jund

    I'm not a Jund player but that may change shortly.

    The card that brought me here is Dreadhorde Arcanist
    I perused the last pages here but didn't see him mentioned ... ?

    Jund has a fantastic assortment of instants and sorceries which the Arcanist could turn into an incredible advantage.
    All he needs is a Rancor and he's all business.

    Add some Giant Growth and/or Brute Force and he can possibly carry the deck on his own.
    Before attack cast Giant Growth on Arcanist making him a 4/6, then attack and cast the GG again making him a 7/9 trampler, +6/+6 for one mana and one card is not bad.

    I've always wanted to play a deck with 4 Kolaghan's Command
    How about being able to cast this potentially 8 times per game ?

    Anyway, I see great potential for jund with this card.

    A first draft :

    //Lands
    2 Badlands
    2 Bayou
    3 Bloodstained Mire
    1 Forest
    1 Mountain
    2 Swamp
    2 Taiga
    3 Verdant Catacombs
    2 Wasteland
    3 Wooded Foothills

    //Enchantments
    4 Rancor

    //Instants
    3 Abrupt Decay
    2 Brute Force
    2 Fatal Push
    2 Giant Growth
    4 Kolaghan's Command
    4 Lightning Bolt

    //Sorceries
    4 Hymn to Tourach

    //Planeswalkers
    1 Liliana of the Veil
    1 Liliana, the Last Hope

    //Creatures
    4 Dark Confidant
    4 Dreadhorde Arcanist
    4 Tarmogoyf

    I've heard rumors of someone playing Dreadhore Arcanist with Domri, Anarch Of Bolas. The good thing about Domri is that it doesn't get you blown out by spot removal. But it also doesn't let you play K. Command again though. It would let you steady-sling some Hymns though, but at some point that won't get you far.

    Domri, Agent of Bolas sounds like a good start.
    Not only Hymns but the Abrupt Decays would be live again as well.

    At some point faithless looting may find a spot in here as well.

    I'm not sure about Looting. The fact that it is just selection worries me for when we aren't getting value off Arcanist. But, maybe a couple if we also have Punishing Fires? Decklist gets crowded fast, in this case.
