I have people who can vouch for the decks I had. I'm not sure about the rest of my collection. We'll see how it play out with our insurance.

Bonne chance pour retrouver tes cartons je suis du saguenay pis c'est arriver a un chummer pis c'est plates en criss
Any pictures you have of you with the cards or deck lists you've filed with the dci will help, you'll also want to make sure the cards were mentioned on the police report. You might also want to type up a list of the cards you had and get someone who works at your local game shop sign a statement confirming they knew you had the cards in your possession and what the replacement cost would be. It's going to add a lot of credibility to your claim and make dealing with the adjuster a lot easier (speaking from experience).
I never took pictures of me playing with/holding my cards... But I can get my friends to sign a sheet for cards they knew I had.
EDIT: well, the LGS owner I meant.

I felt your pain before, but this line really hit me. I remember 2 years ago in January when someone broke into my house downstairs through the patio door, and as I first observed the scene I had the same thought. Then slowly the realization of what happened hit me...
I can still remember telling the 911 operator in a disbelieving voice "I... I think I've been robbed"
Best of luck getting things made whole - hopefully it all works out for you.
Take it easy,

Ray Thiel (1964-2007) - the man who showed me more wonderful games & gaming sessions than I ever dreamed possible... you ran out of hit points too young, my friend.
With all the positive thinking, I decided I won't give up on Magic. Yes the guy took away 14 years of my life, but it won't stop me.

Good for you man, the worst thing that could come out of this is you giving up on the game.
I stopped by my LGS, and seeing all those cards are breaking my heart... :(

A decent homeowners insurance policy should cover all of this.
Part of why I keep an excel spreadsheet of everything I own. Write everything down you can remember, and show them Starcity or some in print price guide.
