He still placed 18th, so there has to be some merit. I doubt you can place decently with such a pile on player skill alone.

When was the last time a Top 4 of a Legacy SCG Open had zero blue decks (there were blue cards though...Mindbreak Trap!)?

His deck looks like it has a favorable matchup against Jund, Bug and Rug, not much you can do wrong there with 7 removal spells, low curve, Wastelands and Elspeth. Maybe he intended to beat those and dodge other strategies... and put in Savannah Lion just to troll us.
    Humphrey is always correct.

Savannah lion, ahah... ain't there just strickly better cards like Dryad militant. I guess the type is not relevant here (cat tribal?), however maybee the color has been considered? (Perish).

He had 4x Dryad Militant MD, and maybe Isamaru was not considered due to be legendary.

Peeps, are you seriously trying to discuss this Deck? It the best joke since Richard Shay raped a Vintage Event with the Jace vs chandra duel deck + mana drains

That wasn't really a Vintage event though, more like monday afternoon arena league...
