Thread: Boros Burn

  1. #21

    Re: Boros Burn

I've been testing boros burn myself since the charm was spoiled. Here's the list I've been running.

    4 goblin Guide
    4 Steppe Lynx
    4 Grim Lavamancer

    4 Boros Charm
    4 Flame Rift
    4 Lightning Bolt
    4 Chain Lightning
    4 Lava Spike
    4 Fireblast
    3 Price of Progress
    1 Lightning Helix

    4 Plateau
    4 Arid Mesa
    4 Bloodstained Mire
    3 Wooded Foothills
    3 Scalding Tarn
    2 Mountain

Seems to be working pretty well so far. I love the lynx, and the lavamancer in here. Since you're running fetches they have incredible synergy with the deck. Lynx can end games incredibly quickly, and lavamancer gives you extra gas if it ever comes down to mid/late game. I found dropping rift bolt was actually solid. It pretty much speeds the deck up by a whole turn.

Kiln Fiend is pretty sweet with Boros Charm.

    hi!!

    great results!

i love this deck too, and i play it very often.

i think have really good match up against almost all, just bad against combo!

lynx and boros charm, are absolutely strong in a burn deck, and 2-3 plateau are not so big problem about mana base!

I was running this deck for a while in my local metagame. One card that really needs attention for testing is Zektar Shrine Expedition. I've had some devastating turn 3 and 4 plays with an active Expedition in combination with double-strike from Boros Charm.

Yep. Talking about Boros Landfall in Legacy, Drew Levin's premium article is now freely available:
