I voted Artifact. I know, I hate me too.
I don't even know why, I mean, the only spells I ever want to see will never happen, like a properly 'fixed Lackey' for White in the hope of actually making White Weenie a deck with staple creatures that aren't just a rotating door of hatebears, or like... a white discard spell, even if it's just an O-Ring style enchantment, which MaRo tells me can never happen, or like... I dunno, something stupid.
I used to post a lot in the Card Creation Forum back at TMD when it was fun and engaging to do so. It hasn't really been a very happenin' place lately. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I've often wondered why there isn't a similar forum here at The Source; so many threads devolve into mini-CCFs around here, in particular when people get on a 'alt-dual-land reprint' kick or 'it would save/fix/ruin Legacy if they would just print this...' and so on. Would give people a place to blow off steam.
I am determined to get a Volrath's Stronghold for enchantments through this contest. It's been too long, Wizards, when will you complete the cycle?!
We also need green for Lands for complete's sake. No idea how they could pull of red stuff, though.
Edit: As for lands, something like that would be cool:
Null Land
Land
T: Add to your mana pool.
Activated abilities of lands can’t be activated unless they're mana abilities.

Sure, artifact destruction is still a thing, but making LD completely and utterly suck just feels bad.
It's even more evident on red Planeswalkers where they can't do without some kind of direct damage. They're utterly uninspiring and downright bad.
I for one, can't wait for M14 and "Burning Whore 4 - Return of the Ping".
I really like that design actually. Should it perhaps be a 2 mana artifact instead of a land to mirror Cursed Totem and Null Rod?
Maybe. But note that those cards completely turn off everything activated, including mana abilities. You can't do that with lands. If it drew an additional card, somewhat similiar to Tsabo's Web, then I could dig that.
But the beauty about it being a land that it's forcing your opponent to play actual LD to get rid of it since
a) you can't counter it and
b) Wasteland/Strip Mine can't get rid of it.
Edit: Being able to turn of fetchlands and being symmetrical makes also highly relevant against anything using Brainstorm. Imagine landing one on the play on T1 against RUG Delver.
It being Magic's 20th anniversary this summer, this needs to be printed:
Mox Crystal
0
Artifact
T: Add to your mana pool.
That is all.

Maybe some interaction with opponents lands for our hatebear
Shocking Moon Pie 1R
Creature - Pie
Haste
When shocking moon Pie comes into play choose target land an opponents controls. As long as shocking moon pie is on the battlefield this land is a mountain.
1R, exile shocking moon pie: shocking moon pie deals 2 damage to target creature or player (activate only if moon pie is in your graveyard)
2/1
Currently playing: Elves

Crucible was amazing. I wanted to vote for another artifact to help out stax and stompy decks, but I feel that it's pretty unlikely that we would have another repeat hit especially when you consider how bad the other two create-a-cards turned out. I ended up picking land because at least it will be uncounterable. It also seems like you could get away with a powerful yet specific effect which would be good in legacy but not too good for modern or standard, which means that they could ramp up the power level.
