Like the old Top4/8 thread, this one is dedicated to recording the Top 4 and/or Top 8 finishes at local tournies. This information gives us a clear picture of what decks are doing well, where, and how consistently. This is extremely important in developing a defined metagame, and in accurately determining a tier structure for the new format. Everyone is encouraged to be as dilligent as possible in accurately recording local tournament statistics.
Please note that this thread is only for listing the decks which placed well, not for posting full decklists. There is a seperate thread for gathering winning decklists, which can be found here. Please use that thread if you have full decklists available for your top-placing decks. Also, please make an attempt to keep commentary to a minimum - this thread is for the collection of hard data.
When you post results, please make an effort to format your post in something resembling the following format:
Date: mm/dd/yy
Location: City, ST
Number of Players: #
Top 4 (1st-2nd split, 3rd-4th split)
Deck Name 1
Deck Name 2
Deck Name 3

EDIT: Please keep this thread limited to events containing 16 or more entrants. Announcement

Hi guys.
After almost SEVEN YEARS, I am finally locking this thread.
The reason is straightforward: as explained here, from now on and until further notice The Source's DTB criteria will be tied to The Council's running metagame tally.
Therefore, we strongly invite you to instead submit your decklists to The Council. This is the best way to make sure they are reflected on our forum, and it will also provide more exposure directly from the database site.
While there could be a few people who still liked to check out decklists directly on these threads, the players and tournament organisers who volunteered to post results and lists here would feel significantly less willing to do it all over again on The Council's site if they still put them up here. This is why this thread is being closed.
Thanks to all of you who posted. You've been awesome.

This event was pretty crappy because the pairings were total ass. Apparently it was "Traditional Swiss" but I played nothing but scrubs. There were like 7 4-0s. Three of them were 8-0 and two were 8-1 (including shadowsky), the two 8-1s had to be randomly chosen to see which one made it into top 4.
I must also mention that A ZOMBIE DECK (OMGWTFBBQGRASS) was one of the other 4-0s, played by some young kid.

1st: Landstill (by Broken Nut)
2nd: GRw Scepter Gro (unreg: Chris Montero)
3rd: Old School Sligh (unreg: Gene ??)
4th: Super Gro (DavidHernandez)
1st and 2nd were undefeated after 4 rounds and decided to ID into 1st and 2nd. The GRw deck is undefeated 3 weeks in a row and has taken 1st every time except this one (because of tie breakers).
I sat next to BrokenNut every match and watched his Landstill build (U/r/w) take down some good players. He earned every match win.
I've seen some requests for decklists. If this is not desired, I will refrain from posting them in the future...just let me know.
Landstill: standard U/r/w build replacing Mana Drains with Counterspells. Ran 3 Lightning Bolts and 3 Nev's Disk (with the fourth in the sideboard). Ran Swords to Plowshares and Fire/Ice, along with 2 Teferi's Response in the main.
G/r/w: I have this list but have not obtained permission to release it. I'll ask Chris if he minds.
Sligh:
4 Jackal Pup
4 Mogg Fanatic
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Incinerate
4 Chain Lightning
2-4 Price of Progress
4 Fireblast
3 or 4 Cursed Scroll
4 Ankh of Mishra
2 Powder Keg
I didn't see any more of this deck after it killed me...
Super Gro:
4 Quirion Dryad
4 Werebear
2 Mystic Enforcer
4 Force of Will
3 Daze
3 Misdirection
3 Stifle
2 Counterspell
1 Merchant Scroll (this should be a Mystical Tutor in my opinon)
4 Accumulated Knolwedge
4 Brainstorm
4 Opt
4 Swords to Plowshares
3 Island
4 Tundra
4 Tropical Island
4 Flooded Strand
2 Windswept Heath
1 Forest
