Thread: Top 4's & Top 8's - POST RESULTS HERE

Since I'm trying to do some statistical analysis of the tournament data, is it possible to link the the T8 decklists? Just having archetypes is hugely unuseful for a statistical purpose.

    1. Life...??? Michael Riley (GenCon champ)
    2. Rabid Wombat (Krzymoose)
    3. Dryad Sligh Ryan Dilgart
    4. Vial Goblins Andrew Riley

Props to Krzymoose for not playing Welder Survival after all.

Slops to me for not playing in this event.

I don't know what possesed Mike Riley to play Life, but it obviously was the right choice for the day. 3 Dryad Sligh builds, 2 Vial Goblins, only 1 U/w Landstill, 1 Angel Stompy, Burn, Elves???, W/g Weenie, Life, Rabid Wombat, and a couple others I'm forgetting.

I split with 2nd and 3rd for the byes.

    1st Goblins (Me)
    2nd Burn

    3rd R/G Survival
    4th R/W/G (with survival I think)

    5th Life.dec (friend)
    6th R/G Survival
    7th Madness
    8th Survival (I think)

The matchup with life and survival quite possibly the worst match of Magic I've ever seen. I think this game could have gone either way.

Michael Riley played life in this event too, it seemed good. Of the 3 life decks there, 1 top 8ed... He would have top 8ed, which would have been bad news for me, but he drew in the last round.

    Bracket

    (1)Burn
    vs
    (8)Madness Burn
    vs
    (4)R/G/W R/G/W
    vs
    (5)Survival Burn
    vs
    (2)Goblins (me) Goblins
    vs
    (7)R/G Survival Goblins
    vs
    (3)Life Survival
    vs
    (6)R/G Survival

If two decks tie, you should really report the results thus:

    1. Mono White Rabid Wombat Tony 4-0-1
    1. U/R Gay Fish Justin 4-0-1
    3. U/W Landstill Derek 4-0-1

    etc.
