Two of my team members top foured so it's all good.
At JSS the only match I lost was to some person that topdecked 4 plow unders and 2 sowing salts.

In top 4 I play him again and win by topdecking mindslaver. He is all yelling about topdeckers and i didn\'t say anything but after he left i figured out what i should of said. \"BITCH 4 plow unders and 2 sowing salts.\"

[quote:sig_uid=\"GreenMycon\"]NEVER underestimate Carebears. Those things are cuddley, yes, but undoubtedly vicious!!

But in all seriousness, you can over analyze that. Carebears, the beasts that really can\'t do much, they\'re cuddley, at best, and just can\'t get anything done without meddling. It really portrays the human aspect in that they are non-magical beasts and use other methods of getting things done.[/quote:sig_uid]

1st: BW Braids (Tom West) 4-0-0
2nd: San Diego Zoo (Chris Montero) 4-0-0
3rd: Old School Sligh (more like "36_burn_spells_4_Ball_Lightning_and_20_lands.dec) (P.J. Bixler) 3-1-0
4th: RG Beatz (Paul Gomez) 3-1-0

5th: RUG Madness (Jason JACO - JACO)
    6th: Goblin Trenches (Nick Trudeau)
7th: Landstill (Jamison Culp - BrokenNut)
8th: Old School Sligh (Bill Hicks)

SD Zoo beats BW Braids, but we didn't do 5-rounds so SD Zoo finished second on tiebreakers.

if you're interested, 9th and 10th place were:

9th: GW Geddon Beatz (Kevin Trombley)
10th: Super Gro (Mike Torrisi - SpikeyMikey)

I'm not sure why we only went 4 rounds. The T.O. said that the cutoff was 28 players, and we "only had" 26, but we ended up with a couple of 4-0-0's. If we had cut to top 8 it would make more sense. With the extreme number of 9-pointers, we really needed to have a 5th round.

I went 2-2-0 with UW Scepter Control and finished a pathetic 17th. I even lost to a Brain Freeze combo deck that used Resets...

They cut the Lotus in half and are currently trying to sell each half online.

Just got back from the local Legacy tourney here in San Diego, Ca. Only 21 people showed up, most likely because of GenCon SoCal. We usually get around 30. Also, it was only 4 rounds instead of 5, which means we ended up with 2 4-0s.
