Hey guys! Just like last year's post regarding the Philly Legacy Series Schedule, I'll try to keep this post as up to date as possible throughout the year; OP will be edited as more details arise. Hope to see you there!

The Philadelphia Legacy Series is a collaboration between three great Philadelphia-area game stores; Redcaps Corner, Alternate Universes, and Top Deck Games. We'll be running six $1,000 events, dozens of weekly events, and a championship in the first half of 2014. For most, playing Legacy is enough, but for those who want another incentive to participate, here it is! By playing in PLS events, you earn points towards a leaderboard that earns you 1 or 2 Byes at the Championship in June!

There are two different ways to earn points for the PLS leaderboard. Playing at any of the three weekly PLS events earn you 3 points for each win, 1 point for each draw, and 0 points for each loss. So if you go 2-2 in a weekly event, you would earn 6 points. Playing at the $1,000 events earn you points, but they carry a 6x multiplier, meaning you earn 18 points for each win, 6 points for each draw, and 0 points for each loss. Also, the $1,000 events tend to have more rounds (usually 5-7 swiss rounds plus three single-elimination rounds count towards your point totals).

Here's what those points get you at the PLS Championship!

3rd) 2 Round Bye
4th) 2 Round Bye
5th) 1 Round Bye
6th) 1 Round Bye
7th) 1 Round Bye
8th) 1 Round Bye

So I assume this isn't being moved to at least Sunday? Since Caffrey's event is significantly larger payout I assume the majority of the drain will come from this event.

Were this Sunday of the same weekend I would make a two-day trip out of it.

Yeah... i really don't have a clue why 3 of the 4 events have conflicted with a much larger event in the area. i guess other weekends were just worse? Although I have no idea how bad other weekends are that you want to run against the Grand Prix 30 blocks away
