GP Paris 15-16/02/2014: metagame prediction and what deck to play?

Some of you guys take this stuff too seriously if you have to put someone on an ignore list.

I gave an opinion, Finn (and others) gave well constructed arguments, and I conceded I was partly wrong. If that makes me a terrible player then I'd hate to be a good player.

Otherwise, UW control. Among the higher tier decks it doesn't have a bad matchup, which makes me believe it could be the best deck.

So, 3 UW are the sole 10-0 decks? Def time to ban Brainstorm. And Top. And while we are up to it, Tnn and Snt as well. I would like my Legacy to play like Modern with Fow and Wasteland!

The Delver/TNN/Miracles circlejerk is boring as hell. And that's what we're seeing the entire time with a few exceptions.

It's boring to you. I love blue centric formats. But let's move on.

If I'd go I would play monored Painter. Especially with byes I would expect a lot of targets for red blasts and a lot of people randomly folding by not playing around Blood Moon. Also, Ensnaring Bridge. A lot of people just won't know what to do, resulting in a lot of free wins.

Just call a judge if your opponent doesn't do anything within 5 seconds - it's not like they have options anyway, they are just trying to draw the match. Oh and obv start playing slower once you are up 1-0. Because fetching is fucking hard.
