That guy will cost like 6+ mana to cast, I guarantee it.
Unless the text parts that I cannot read now contain massive drawbacks. But then I don't want the card at all, probably.

Pushed for Eternal so 3or 4 CMC red and blue.

    +1 Faithless Looting
    -2 steal artefact
-6 Steal Atticact every time you cast a spell that targets one
    Or
Replicate spell for each target it could target
My Legacy Decks of choice: Pox, Miracles, D&T or Lands.

Faithless looting is obviously the first one ...

Second one is probably an Act of Treason effect (maybe Zealous Conscripts).

Third ... i dont know ... gut tells me some sort of reveberate fork or twincast thing, but eh.

Given all that though ... i really doubt its intended for legacy. Maybe modern but not legacy.

2nd line does not have the space for 'until end of turn'. Flavor would support that he permanently steals an artifact (he's a master thief or something).

This will not see Modern play. Modern is not an eternal format. This card will not be legal.
It could possibly see Vintage play if it is "-2: Steal an artifact" and the CMC is or .

The ultimate will be splashy and unimportant in determining whether it sees any play...

Well its not going to be legal in modern... The set is legal for legacy and vintage (and commander I imagine) only.

I would be surprised if he cost more than 4.

Ah my bad. Had a brain fart in regards to legality.

Anyhow if the commander sets are any indication, being legal only in eternal formats does not necessarily mean theyre made for Legacy or Vintage.

For example, steal target artifact doesnt really do a whole lot in Legacy, but it would be pretty nifty to grab a caged sun or gauntlet of power in edh.

Card is fully spoiled and would've been excellent in Modern.

Batterskull/Equipment & Aether Vial alone are fairly common. Stealing a Vial at the least will slow your opponent down and stealing equipment will likely have a decent impact on the game. The Faithless Looting ability alone already gives this potential since it helps you with card quality. Find a way to make more use of it and the value of this card goes up more. Assuming this costs 2UR at the most, I already plan on trying to brew something up with Goblin Welder.

Edit: And as I finish typing the card gets spoiled (Not Confirmed)

For those unable to click the link:

    Dack Fayden
    Planeswalker - Dack
+1: Target player draws two cards, then discards two cards.
-2: Gain control of target artifact.
-6: You get an emblem with "Whenever you cast a spell that targets a creature, untap and gain control of that creature. It gains haste."
    Starting Loyalty: 3

Note that the Threaten effect from the Emblem is permanent.

Just checked Salvation, I don't see this as being confirmed, just someone's mockup with no source.

This "spoiler" is only an educated guess, the picture is photoshopped.

Ah, apparently I can't read and read the imgur as MythicSpoiler. Kind of glad as I hate that ultimate and the bit where it doesn't untap the Artifact.

Is that the real card? I thought is was someone's mock up.
Three mana sorcery to steal an artefact is good, this then sticks around to give you card selection if opponents do not spend time killing it.

I wouldn't play that card if it was real. Not in legacy (although i'd probably try to brew something with Goblin Welder, Arcum Dagsson and Mycosynth Lattice with it).. Otherwise, since imperial painter is better than UR Painter, I don't see it going anywhere if it were real.

If that is the real card, I'd either do painted stone, or try out a sweet RUG Loam deck. Loot for awhile, then after his ultimate, every punishing fire is mind control.

Assuming the very likely chance his -2 is "Gain control of target artifact."; if he is CMC 4 or less, could he make Liquimetal Coating a playable card?

Edit: WTF is going on in that art? He's got a red glove on but he's holding a black glove? That has to be the worst planeswalker pose...

I think he's supposed to have a red hand and a blue one, and he takes the gloves off to use them.

FWIW the 'full spoiler' is probably fake since the text wraps too far down. The third ability probably just ends with "copy that spell" or something similarly useless.

He's a thief. He was caught and made -literally - "red-handed."

    It's a story thing I guess.
