That's pretty sweet. Be sure to convince Bonde and Enevoldsen as well (I've tried but they won't budge) xD! Moar scandinavians!

Whether it's easier on paper and whether I should book another night to depart Monday morning and whether this that or the other thing.

tldr: How to venue->NYC for dummies.
I am wondering the same thing. If I don't make Day 2 (likely, considering I don't play that much Legacy as of late), so I would love to visit NYC for a day if possible.

The NJ Transit station in Edison goes straight into Penn Station in the city. Looking on the map, there is the station in Metuchen that's technically a closer drive from the convention center. Trains run pretty late too so you can make the most of your time. No easier way beyond having someone just drive you into the city. PM me for contact info if people are looking for rides to the trains station as I live right there.

Cedric Phillips had a post saying they were prepared for 6000.
That is WAY different than saying they expect 6000.

But you don't prepare for six thousand unless you expect the possibility.

All that story says is that they have enough judges to support 6000 players at the typical judge-player ratio.

Is it true there are going to be sanctioned vintage side events? I over heard this at an event recently.

Got the time off, pricing plane tix, will be there.

Also, if anyone local-ish can recommend a sports bar, my boys and I will probably want to watch the Velasquez/Werdum UFC fight.

    Congrats on the Byes!!

I think we should have a Sourcer meet up.

I just got my tickets booked for the flight out there. Now to figure out the hotel thing... Do I book last moment with my slacker judge buddies or do I book earlier and not stress but risk a bad roomate(s)... That is the question.
