List of Stores that Support Legacy

Last updated on February 13, 2017 at 03:46:48 PM PST
I think it is in the interest of our community to patronize stores that support Legacy when possible over ones that do not, and I have decided to assemble a list of stores that run Legacy events. I intend to keep this sorted both regionally and alphabetically. Please help me keep this accurate, especially with regards to stores missing from the list that do support Legacy, stores on the list that no longer support Legacy, existence of a usable online storefront, and any additional comments you may have. I will make sure to keep this updated!

Made a map so it's visually easier to locate shops. I travel a good bit and I don't know the names of all the suburbs. This should help. It is editable by anyone if logged in to their Google account (although I have the sign-in required turned off - go figure) so if any of the information is wrong, anyone can change it. Also, I didn't add any of the event info as this thread is most likely not up to date on that either. I did add info for Outer Realm Cards & Games in Southaven, MS so if others knew the schedules, they can do the same. And, being public, it would be easier to update than this post and the other on Salvation.

The list is pretty much the same as the first thread as of October 26th, 2016. I did find some errors in locations, listed below:

Crusaders' Retreat (Phoenix) closed but a new store below:

Majestix CCG (Costa Mesa) - Only heroclix (removed)

    closed:
    Next-Gen Games (Los Angeles)
The Coliseum Games and Hobbies (Norwich)
    The Grid Games (Manchester)
    The Hobby Horse (Taylorville)
    Wicked Hobbies (East Wareham)
    Changeling Games (Springfield)
    Sports Collectors Universe (Uniontown)
    Red's Comics and Games (Greece)
    Gaming Galore (Chesterfield)
    El Nido de Fenix (Mataro)

    new:
Mississippi - Outer Realm - FNM Legacy at 6:30 PM Entry:$15.00 (every 3rd Friday?) (Southaven, MS)

Update on North Carolina's Get Some Game:

Every Wednesday @ 7:00PM (instead of Sunday)
First Friday of each month @ 7:30PM (with FNM promos when available)
Quarterlies aren't guaranteed 1Ks but we still have them roughly every quarter.

It's been awhile since an update, but for Georgia Supergames Inc and wasteland gaming no longer run events. Win Condition (Kennesaw, GA) runs a weekly on Wednesday nights at 7:30 and a monthly event that varies I on when during the month that is a $30 buy in with all entries paid out in credit to top 8

is there any weekly legacy in Vancouver, BC now? I tried to look up the website of the two stores mentioned above, but seems like they stop running legacy events?

Thanks, I'll check this out. Are you pretty confident about all the closed stores? If so, I'll get them removed.

The Belgium information is a bit outdated

The Open Series in Outpost no longer exists (or if it does, it no longer has Legacy).

They do however still support the Belgian Legacy Cup series (community organized) with a location and with sponsorship for the Finals prize payout.

Outpost Ghent does have a strong Legacy + Vintage scene whose schedule I do not know, they have (I think) both a Legacy and Vintage FNM each month. Outpost Antwerp also has a monthly Legacy FNM. Not sure about Brussels.

Gunship Games in Freising (near Munich) supports Legacy with a monthly tournament. Would be cool if you added them: https://www.facebook.com/gunshipgames/
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

    For Paris, France:

The weekly tournament at MagicCorporation is the worst, 8-10 players, and a lot of rogue.deck and budget.deck.

    You could add for weeklys:

MagicBazar on friday night at 19h30 (7'30pm), 10-14 players, 3 rounds
    Troll2Jeux on tuesday night at 19h30 (7'30pm), 18-24 players, 4 rounds

    for monthly:

    MagicBazar on saturday at 11h00 (11am), 40 players, 5 rounds + top 8
