Well, at least we got our third legacy GP back , was already in fear we'd lose the second one for next season..

Also, don't know how much you follow the Pro Tour coverage, all 2015 Pro Tours will be Standard/Draft, meaning no Modern or Block.. pukearific

Japan is an interesting experiment. Biggest legacy area outside of US/Europe, but I wonder just how many people can acquire the necessary cards.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.

You say that like it's a good thing :(.

That Grizzle is pretty sick looking though, so that's cool since promos tend to have worse artwork than originals for whatever reason. Sadly I highly doubt that I'll be able to fly cross country to play magic anytime soon. Also sadly that this promo pretty much guarantees that Griselbrand will remain a thing in our format at least for a while (not saying it should be banned, I just don't like how it's an instant win 99.99% of the time).

Yeah it does look sick. Although I could never get why they keep drawing him with loincloths on. Do demons even have reproductive organs? He has no fingers. It's impossible for him to even put that there.

Glad Legacy gets its 3rd GP back. And Japan should be interesting. They always slot some funky cards into their builds. Should be good.

Well it looks like they've given up completely on Block Constructed now, which is a shame because I think the format might have been more popular if they had done things with it other than a single Pro Tour and a single Grand Prix this year. Bleh on only Standard Pro Tours, though. You couldn't mix it up a little? I'd totally be for a Pauper Pro Tour.

I don't think it's warping the format, but I'd laugh if the Tin Fins players manage to get this banned before the 2015 GP season starts.

Being a GP promo also confirms that Griselbee is going to a promo on MODO at some point.

If you think about it, Europe has much larger Legacy scene. Why would you settle for a smaller event to generate less profit in NA, when you could have chosen a format to suck in higher attendance for more profit?

I'm not familiar with Legacy scene in Japan, but I would imagine it's pretty large.

I have free train trickets for every country in europe, but in France i have to pay nearly the full price of their expensive trains.
Wizards, why do you put all the Legacy Grand Prix to France??

But Lille is very close to the belgian borderline, so i can go to Belgium for free and switch near at Lille the countries.

Seattle sounds also very nice because i want to visit this town.

Proportionally Legacy and Modern are about the same next year as this year; it is nice though to see an extra continent get a chance to play Legacy.
    2014: 46 GPs - 6 Modern 13.0% and 2 Legacy 4.4%
    2015: 54 GPs - 8 Modern 14.8% and 3 Legacy 5.6%
My Legacy Decks of choice: Pox, Miracles, D&T or Lands.

Seattle is quite nice. Tacoma, a suburb of Seattle where the event will be held, is more of a port hub. but, you get to drive to Seattle! :)
