Hey all, got the new Casual Castle article out today.

In this one I talk about a number of super cheap (>$4USD) Deathtouch Pingers decks. Let me know what you all think!

Well done! Decks under 4 bucks? Wow, quite a challenge.

Whenever I read articles like this one, it hurts me that most of the nice old cards are either bad or they are quite expensive due to low prints, "ageing", etc. Also, the main trouble with old sets is the unavailability of cheap color fixation. Look how your manabases that sport six "duals" cost nothing. Add Shivan Reef or Coastal Tower and now you're in a really different range. Not that €10 deck is too expensive, just that making the same in old school/frame is a bit more daunting.
If only the WotC have been more reasonable back in the days of old. Veldt? Really? Like... yeah, ok, the art is nice.
