    [Article] Adapting to Treasure Cruise and Exploring Titania in Legacy

    I split the Top 4 of a 43-player tournament (http://www.tcdecks.net/deck.php?id=15676) two weekends ago with a brew with Titania, Protector of Argoth. People wanted to hear about the deck, so I wrote an article on it, and it was posted today.

    Straight from the underground volcano Legacy-brewing lair of the always-elusive ESG! Even Gerry T wants to learn your dark magicks.

    Between Carpet of Flowers and Titania, which has been the more impactful card for you? They both seem pretty wild.

    Nice article and list.

    Coming from Lejay's Sylvan Plug list, I'd try out at least 2 Sylvan Libraries and at least 1 Courser of Kruphix (GSZ target). Both cards are good on their own and they're a powerful engine when combined.

    Carpet of Flowers Maindeck might be an even more effective meta call than Choke maindeck.

    Congratulations on doing well with a Maverick deck

    Did Natural Order do a lot during the tournament? You never mentioned it and it seems like a weak GSZ most of the time.
    I had picked up a couple of copies to play around with so shall defiantly try out Titantia at this weeks FNM.

    Good read, glad to see Titania getting some field time! I've definitely had a hunch that she's got what it takes.

    Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll answer some Q's.

    @[reptiLe]: Yep, Treasure Cruise is out, which probably means this deck will cease to be well-positioned. No worries: I have more decks in development.

    @lyracian: Natural Order was good for me in the quarterfinals. I guess I was too subtle with my wording ("call up a Titania"). I was trying to use GSZ and Natural Order toward the same ends in the deck, but GSZ obviously has wider applications, so that's why I ran three of those. I would have run four, but I had trouble trimming down to 60 cards, and I actually played 61 cards in the event because I couldn't decide on what was the worst card (turns out it was Gaddock Teeg).

    @Barook: I will definitely be messing around with Courser in Legacy in the future. Sylvan Library is a card I'm not as high on as most other people, except in a field with lots of Swords to Plowshares or Grove of the Burnwillows.

    @danyul: Carpet of Flowers.

    What card, Treasure Cruise? It's only been 2 days!
