The Philly Legacy Series returns with our 2nd event of the season!
This tournament is being held at our Powelton Village location, using the Legacy banned list, and the winner will receive a two-round bye at Eternal Weekend’s main Legacy event in August. All players compete in the same event, and each player must have a Legacy-legal deck in order to play. This event uses Competitive REL and has a Planeswalker Points multiplier of x3.

Once again this series will be a collaboration of weekly and monthly events between all three stores. Each monthly event will reward one player with byes at a special event to be held in August 2015. On top of that the top player(s) from each store (as determined by PLS Series points) will earn other benefits as decided by all three stores.

Sorry for the delay, I just found out about these events an hour ago. Prizes for the Redcaps event is most likely $25 store credit per player to the pool though no one's confirmed it

You wrote (or copy/pasta'd) this as though it is different from normal. That address is the one these events normally occur in. Just making sure this is the same store I normally go to before I drive 1.5 hours for Magics.

July 25th Alternate Universes Blue Bell
Alternate Universes Blue Bell is hosting a Magic: the Gathering Legacy Tournament on Saturday, July 25th, 2015. This event is part of the Philadelphia Legacy Series (PLS). High finishes in this event count towards the 2015 PLS Championship for which you can earn byes and even free entry!
Time: Doors and registration open at 11:00 AM. Play will begin at Noon.
Entry Fee: $25
Format: Legacy. Competitive REL. The number of Swiss rounds played will be based on attendance. There will be a cut to Top 8 single-elimination playoffs. The play/draw rule will be in use for the Top 8 so the higher seeds have the choice of whether to play or draw.
PRIZES: This prize breakdown is based on 40 players.
(note: store credit prizes are now usable at any Alternate Universes location!)
1st place: $400 store credit
2nd: $200 store credit
3rd – 4th: $100 store credit
5th – 8th: $50 store credit
Prizes to be given out are based on attendance. As always, 100% of the entry fees collected are put back into the prize pool.

This series looks awesome. I wish I hadn't moved to Alabama... Keep updating the schedule, I'm in midstate PA every few months and maybe I can catch one!
30-50 is typical for these depending on which store and what else is going on that weekend. For this one with GP Pittsburgh the same weekend, I'd expect 40.
I try to keep it updated but they don't always give us decent noticeHope to see you at one of these though!
